Petra Digital is delighted to offer up a new EP from chief beat maker Eren Erdol that comes with one sizzling house original and an excellent remix from Joeski. Eren Erdol is an Istanbul based producer who is head of the Petra Digital label. He was acquainted with music at the age of eight via piano. His professional music career began after he started playing drums, which took him to many gigs around his homeland. Since 2011 he has been making house jams with a range of top collaborators and here he impresses again, just as he does when DJing around Europe. His original is Falling, an old school house jam with lush diva vocals, warm chords that remind you of classic New York styles and a bobbling bass line that will get the floor moving. It is an effortlessly cool cut that will standout in any set. Joeski’s remix is totally different - he flips the thing in to a hard hitting, driving house affair that will make people sweat as they march to the macho beats. Stabs, vocals and squelchy percussion all add to the sense of forward motion and round out a very useful EP.

Distinguished for his filthy house cuts, Kevin has a created a deeply charming EP, reinforcing his position within the dance scene. A man of many skills, the US born artist started out by DJing in San Francisco for notorious clubs such as Werd and Housepitality and after relocating to Berlin his career catapulted and a global touring schedule ensued. Always staying true to his sound, Kevin has previously released on Hot Creations, Viva Music, Material and Dirtybird Records among others.

Hot Creations regular artist Mark Jenkyns debuts on Suara with a floorfiller track called "Reach For Me". The amazing voice of Mizzbee leads this techno & house crossover track, 4AM sounds ready for the summer season. The great elements from the original mix has been taken by awesome artists and they did his own version of the track: the belgian duo Raw District took the track to deep, electronic and moody sounds, the mighty Richy Ahmed delivered a 7 minutes percussive journey of up-to-date house music and rising stars CamelPhat did a fat bassline and added powder for the dancefloor on their revision. Mirko Di Florio is a rising star from Italy who brings a fresh and pumping sound which has seen him release on Lee Foss’s Repopulate Mars, Darius Syrossian’s Do Not Sleep and a string of other high profile labels. We are very excited to have him on board for his debut on Deeperfect with a three track EP.
Kicking things off we have the title track, Get Into The Groove. This is jacking slab of tech house with a bouncing bassline and thundering drums. Energetic percussion and a memorable vocal deliver maximum impact for non-stop, club rocking vibes. It maintains a heavy intensity throughout, which is balanced by an effortless swing and funkiness to the groove.
Acid Hole is an aptly named cut which focuses around a bubbling acid bassline, syncopated percussion and vocal cuts. The track follows suit by dropping a heavy jacking beat which perfectly matches the squelch of the expertly crafted bassline and synths. This tune has peak time hedonism written all over it!
Closing out the EP is a rolling tech house burner titled Forward. Based around a clever vocal sample, which like the beat, is proclaiming to “Push Things Forward”. This is a real jump up party track that is sure to get heads down and asses shaking on every dancefloor where it’s dropped.

Sirus Hood - Paris’ prime underground house DJ and producer - makes a welcome return to Solardo’s inimitable Sola label with a new EP featuring highly respected Berlin based producer Kevin Knapp. Titled Out Of Order, the EP demonstrates Sirus Hood’s deep-seated understanding of the dancefloor with groove laden beats and high-octane energy.

What lies underneath Sirus Hood’s music is soul and a supreme knowledge of the dancefloor, cultivated through years of exposure to Paris’ underground club scene. From the tender age of 10 Sirus began to immerse himself in mixtapes and before long began playing gigs in the Parisian warehouse scene, championing everything from New York house to 80s’ Chicago Hip house and the Balearic sounds of Ibiza. Releases on the likes of Dirtybird, CUFF, and Under No Illusion followed while DJ residences in Sankeys Ibiza, Eden Ibiza, Audio Rehab, Ministry Of Sound, and Showcase have cemented Sirus Hood as one of the scene’s most consistent and hardworking artists.

It’s no surprise then that the Parisian DJ regularly attracts internationally acclaimed artists to work with him. Featuring on the EP’s title track is San Francisco born, Berlin based Kevin Knapp. Kevin established himself as a pioneer back in 2012 when he unleashed his groove-heavy, soulful sound with Audiojack on Gruuv. More recently Kevin has released on the likes of Hot Creations and has initiated a touring career that’s seen him play all around the world at Sankeys, Paradise and Elrow in cities such as Barcelona, Beirut, Mumbai and Seoul. Frequent supporters include Jamie Jones, Pete Tong, Seth Troxler and The Martinez Brothers, among others.

Out Of Order sees these two producers pour their club-expertise for a versatile dancefloor package. While the title cut shows off an explosion of musical imagination, Brotha sees Sirus Hood go it alone with hypnotic 808 rhythms and an intoxicating sound design. Certain to do damage wherever it’s played, Out Of Order offers a glimpse of Sola’s outstanding plans for 2019 as well as Sirus Hood and Kevin Knapp’s exciting projection on the global stage.
