Funkatech Records has a reputation for bringing the hottest and heaviest

attest to. Next up the Funkatech crew continue to deliver the highest quality
dance music around, this time from another incredible French artist, Stoneway.
Infusing heady electro house formulas with summertime vibes and a distinctly
euphoric feel, Stoneway makes some of the most energetic tracks around,
without resorting to pumping out the same old formula over and over again.
Instead you’re treated to some Gallic club bombs that will leave crowds sweaty,
and smiling.
First up on the ‘Shrinking Violet’ EP is the title track. Reminiscent of Wolfgang
Gartner but with Stoneway’s own twist, this tune is an out and out electro
banger. Winding synths and an infectious groove are topped with luscious
musicality and underpinned with a pounding bassline. Clearly this track is no
shrinking violet as it threatens to deliver some serious damage when it’s dropped.
