Solomun remixes German rap group K.I.Z’s track „Samstag Ist Krieg“ which translates to „Saturday is War“ - a play at rowdy nights out in Berlin. 
A deep and hypnotic beat pulsating like the capital’s U-Bahn going over rails paired with the vocals of Tarek K.I.Z that range from whispers to screams set a gloomy vibe right off the bat. Synthesizers start flaring up like emotions on an intoxicating bender, and then all culminates in a night-defining climax.

"The track came together during the last club season on my train ride to Hamburg. I was trying to create a specific acid club sound, combining a heavy-hitting kick with a powerful, rolling bassline. At first, it was just a simple, clean acid tune. After I got home, I added the trance top synth and the insanely powerful vocal. So you can definitely say it’s club-tested and dance-floor-approved. Rich’s rise in popularity is partly due to the consistency of his monthly “Resolutions” podcast, which has regularly topped the weekly charts on friskyRadio.com

Since 2007, Rich’s contribution to his local electronic dance music community has been positively enormous. Amongst regular spots at top festival institutions such as Stereosonic, Future Music Festival (Cocoon Heroes), Manifest and Elements, Rich Curtis ran the self-created underground club night “Ulterior,” which debuted many international acts in Brisbane and Gold Coast nightclubs up until 2014 where he decided the studio deserved his full attention ongoing.

Rich continues to expand onto the global dance music scene, including annual tours of Latin America, where he feels most at home with his sound.

Rich provides 3 different yet amazing tracks showing his true diversity.
