There is a Japanese term: Mono no aware. It means basically, the sad beauty of seeing time pass - the aching awareness of impermanence. These are the days that we will return to one day in the future only in memories. How do we capture them? How could we possibly be able to fully appreciate them in the present? This project is our attempt to put time under glass.

The Midnight is a marriage between a songwriter from the Deep South and a producer from Denmark who both live in Los Angeles. This is our love song to our city and a testament to the weight these years can hold.

Metrik is a London-based electronic music producer, vocalist and DJ celebrated for his pioneering approach to drum & bass. Over the past decade, his soaring melodies, explosive energy and innovative sound design have earned him top chart positions, placed him on major festival stages and cultivated a devoted global following.

Since the summer of 2015 South Wales based band Paradise Walk have been bringing a mix of Alternative Pop from the island shores of their hometown. Christian Ferriday & Lee Fifield have been childhood friends ever since they can remember, From an early age they discovered a profound passion for music!  Paradise Walk deliver a unique blend of captivating vocals, soaring guitars, tied in with enriched synthesisers and melodic Keys all backed up by a driving rhythm section. Paradise Walk draw influences from varying decades and styles which are deeply rooted with their own stories and experiences that define their lives.   Releasing a string of singles in 2015 “Summer Heat” & “Neon Rain” gained them notoriety amongst the New retro scene. Their energised Debut ep “Rogue” followed in 2017, which only aided their momentum. Next came a collaboration Ep with overseas friend, French songwriter & Dj, Morgan Willis, who helped cement their love for the 80’s synth scene. Paradise Walk then went on to create and release their Debut album “Cruel Hearts Club” in 2020, Releasing a single of the same name which features legendary Saxophonist Thomas Edinger, The album explores the long lasting effects of past relationships and heartbreak, modernity and a longing to keep going.  
In 2022 after a break of what seemed like a life time due to the pandemic, Paradise Walk released their latest single “You Already Know” accompanied by a Music video, “Emerging from the sea our protagonist seeks to find answers to all his questions amongst the items of his past, but does he already know?”   Paradise Walk are set to release their New song  “TALK TALK TALK” in the summer of 2023. The song shows us a contrast between external perceptions and internal dialogue.
“Our core message is to encourage our listeners to take the first step at reaching out and talking about their mental health. We are no strangers to the overwhelming challenges of depression & anxiety, sometimes it just helps to talk to someone.” With many mainstream artists starting to raise awareness around mental health, Paradise Walk hope to carry that torch even further through their music.
