The 47th episode of our podcast comes from one of the freshest and most promising producer of NYC's House-Music scene.  Based in Brooklyn, his solo debut two-track single arrived earlier this year on Cult Trip, quickly followed by a mini album released by Exotic Dance Records on oldschool tapes. He recently signed another track on Opal Tape's sublabel Black Opal. Here he delivers an exclusive Lo-Fi mix to Electrocorp, providing a brilliant selection of raw House cuts, Techno, experimental sound and a live session at the end of the mix.

The release is a deep dive into cosmic soundscapes, synth melodies, heavy basslines weaving together elements of house, nu-beat, and ambient into a truly unique, low-BPM fusion. Across four original tracks, "Tidal Figures" explores a quiet duality of space and time. "Echo Marina" and "Nyrosine" bask in a soft, melodic glow, while "Null Meridian" and "Backcurrent" plunge listeners into a darker, even slower synthetic haze. The tracks are all driven by deep, slow basslines and shimmering synths that feel heavy and submerged, reminiscent of a half-speed Harold Faltermeyer adrift in an underwater voyage.

Adding to the EP's allure, "Tidal Figures" features two remixes from revered artists Max Essa and Project Sandro. Balearic luminary Max Essa takes on "Echo Marina," infusing it with his signature magic touch while preserving its gentle tempo. Project Sandro, the collaborative vision of Rollmottle and Tony Watson, then propels "Null Meridian" into an even deeper, outer space cruiser, showcasing their masterful blend of studio expertise and vision. This release showcases Sim Fossil's ability to create a sound that is both nostalgic and forward-thinking, electronic yet gently fluid, perfectly suited for the ears and hearts of the Dream Chimney fanbase.

We’re now thrilled to announce his latest release, The Lake — a shimmering new cut that dives even deeper into his genre hopping sound.
