Hello everyone, for this 42nd episode, we are delighted to welcome artist Saša Delimar, a.k.a. Infinity, DJ and producer on labels such as Qeone, IO, Illegal Alien Records, Lowless, Lett, Pyramid Blood and Oslated. His signature sound focuses on textures and intense rhythms that are well suited both for dancing and home listening. The artist has played at Berlin clubs such as Suicide Circus, Griessmühle, Fiese Remise and //: about blank, and is a resident DJ at Art Bei Ton. Here, he brings us an hour of music perfectly crafted for a high-quality mix, highy hypnotic and hypertextured, with precise rhythms and fluid transitions, telling us an imaginary futuristic sensorial story, a techno that is both chlorophyllian and urban. Paul Rêve explores the boundaries of today’s electronic music by developing an emotional dialogue
between ambient and dance music. By releasing music on record labels such as Virtual Forest
Records, Blue Night Jungle, and Melifera, he stands out as one of the distinct voices of the French
mental scene, blending introspection with primal energy.

As co-founder of the record label and collective Polën Records, he embraces a sensitive and
handcrafted approach to music production, grounded in careful listening to the natural living.

Paul:
I usually don’t share recordings from my live shows, because I believe the magic of a moment can’t truly be experienced outside of its context. A dancefloor, a crowd, a specific time and place... these elements can’t be fully captured in a home listening environment.
But this mix is special to me. It’s a recording of my very first show at Le Sucre in Lyon, my hometown. The club is equipped with a custom-built Meyer Sound system that sounds incredible, and that night everything came together perfectly: a packed venue, a vibrant crowd, and a powerful energy on the dancefloor.

By sharing this mix, I want to preserve that memory and let it live on beyond that night.

But when it was his turn to perform live, it was immediately something special - guitars, sitar, and all sorts of machines… just him alone, exploring drones and electroacoustic elements. It was a spectacular journey, and it’s an honour to present him here. Thank you, my friend!"


Artist note: It was such a pleasure to be invited to play at Springkell, an amazing listening-focused party held in a dramatic 18th century manor house. I wanted to capture a sense of the Gothic sublime which the place evokes, and I hope this set conveys that visceral, mind-expanding, awe-inspiring feeling which I felt from the beauty of the space, then even more so listening to so many thought-provoking, inspirational artists sharing their experience and their sounds with us that weekend.

inbuilt obsolescence (@inbuilt-obsolescence) is a London-based hybrid electronic and acoustic live act formed by session musicians Owain Arthur (guitar and electronics) and frequently David Kemp (saxophone and electronics). Their performances are built around long-form improvisation, blending breakbeats, jazz phrasing, sound design, and experimental production into fluid, genre-defying sets shaped by their wide-ranging experience in music production, songwriting, and musical direction across the UK. As resident and co-instigator of Destroy / Rebuild at Block1 (Berlin) and the West London experimental showcase Cosmic Render, the project thrives on bringing together obscure and exploratory sounds. Live sets incorporate processed samples, drones, spoken word, field recordings, and as many live instruments and collaborators as available, spontaneously reinterpreting recorded artefacts into immersive, space-age psychedelic noise — a constantly evolving fusion of texture, rhythm, and atmosphere.

In the ever-expanding universe of psychill and downtempo, few artists bridge the gap between ancient spirituality and modern production as seamlessly as Mexico’s Ivan Meyer, better known as Hoova. His latest full-length offering, The Chakra Journey, released on the venerable Altar Records, is more than just an album; it is a meticulously structured sonic ceremony designed to align the listener from the root up.

True to its name, the album follows a narrative arc through the seven energy centers of the body. Hoova’s signature style, a lush blend of deep ambient, organic textures, and Chakra tonal elements, is on full display here.

Expect a transition from the grounding, earthy slow percussions of the Lower Chakras to the shimmering, ethereal synths and "angelical" vocals that define the Heart and Crown.

He avoids the clichés of "elevator New Age" by keeping the grooves intelligent and the atmospheres emotionally resonant. If you enjoyed his previous works like Mystic Frequencies, this is the natural, more expansive evolution of that sound.

Continuum: a coherent whole characterised as a collection, sequence, or progression of values or elements varying by minute degrees.

I am sure you have experienced something similar: a connection with an artist through their output and their way of understanding music, no matter the physical distance. When everything they share hits the right spot. When regardless of genres, the energy and intention they convey feels in line with yours. This channel has felt this way, for a long time, with Sarah Wreath, and it was only a matter of time we made this happen and we were honored with one of her mixes for The Continuum. 

Sarah's approach is not tied to a specific genre. Her sounds are always psychedelic, mental, avant-garde. And these choices can take the form of ambient, techno, downtempo or anything in between. Does this approach sound familiar? Sarah and Selene Series are a match, and after connecting a while ago we were itching to release her take on The Continuum. 

But first, some words about Sarah: a regular in venues like Tresor, in 2024 Sarah released her debut LP Integration on the renowned label The Bunker New York, underscoring her commitment to immersive rhythm and sonic exploration. This path led to her collaboration on Sandwell District’s album End Beginnings , placing her within the current vanguard of experimental techno. Recent releases on great labels like Predawn or Wabisabi show that she is at the top of her powers right now. 

For her gift to The Continuum Sarah created a mix on a slower bpm, showing that slower tempos can also carry incredible depth, energy and emotion. Intensity and physicality are not dependent on the speed of music, and here Sarah delivers a masterclass on patient energy release. A sonic potion that required slow but constant stirring ;)

Thank you Sarah, this is a special one we have been waiting on for some, and one of those connections this channel exists for.

The Continuum: Sarah Wreath

Live set recorded last year for our podcast. It took some time to get this out but we're so happy to finally channel this in your ears. This one was born from months spent in the Japanese countryside, bamboo, tea, a river, and a community that quietly shifted something. More lo-tech, more minimal, closer to the ground. Sampler-fed drum machines, free-hand rhythms, and a dub instinct that never left. In dub we trust.
