For this second night, the Atelier des Lumières in Paris brings together the cerebral techno of German master Recondite and the colourful universe of iconic Catalan modernist Gaudí.

This event will raise funds for the Fondation Culturespaces, a charity which enables access to culture for disadvantaged children.

Recondite is an artist who operates in his own rather closed-off world, but you are more than welcome to join him. For the last decade, he has honed a signature sound that is a pure and unapologetic expression of self. His undulating sounds, idiosyncratic use of acid and always soothing atmospheres offer a place to get lost, reflect and revive yourself. Everything he makes in the studio or plays live is meticulously well-designed and carefully thought out, but always comes with a lived-in feel and pastoral charm.

Etching a musical partnership that draws from the combined roots of IDM, house and techno, 
Mind Against are the Italian native but Berlin based project of Alessandro and Federico Fognini.

The biggest cliché of a “sound that’s hard to pin down”, is realer than gravity when it comes to Mind Against. They coax on psychedelic hooks of the 1980s and dance floor anthems bound traditionally to european soil. This backdrop makes for releases and performances that do well against any canvas.
