Looking around the world today, in our current situation, it’s easy to get lost in the uncertain reality we are all facing. For some it will be proving harder and harder to be upbeat when everything around them seems to have been thrown in to turmoil.

What I’m noticing though, while we are undergoing this global catastrophe, is the power of positivity and the acts of kindness from people who have never met before. Our ability to work together and look out for each other is really starting to shine through. People are sending notes around neighbourhoods to check in on each other and make sure they’re ok, families are re-connecting, people are sharing goods and services online for free. DJs have begun streaming online to help entertain people, teachers are posting various ideas to help parents teach their children… We may be in isolation, but we have never been closer!

If everyone can continue with this mentality and remember to follow the social distancing and isolation rules, it should make this pandemic much easier to conquer.

A Franco-Ethiopian, Dj Sirsway has always wallowed in music. After having organized concerts for many years and contributed to the musical scheduling of different festivals, he decides to make music his career.

Living at the moment between Switzerland and France, and as well as his deejaying, he runs with Dj Incontrol the Bebob-Swing Crew and the website www.electro-swing.com.

It was after doing a tour as DJ in Columbia in June that he really defined his style. His sets are characterized by mixing electronic music such as techno, jungle, drum,        break, minimal and house with traditional music from all over the world like swing, jazz, salsa, cumbia, boogaloo, funk etc...

Dj Incontrol and dJ SirSway created Bebop Swing in 2007 to bring together DJ's, bands, Vj's, dancers, neo-burlesque artists, the crew unites professionals from event production. Bebop Swing organises both public and private events using swing, jazz and electro for bars, concert halls, businessess etc...

As organisers, SirSway and Incontrol focus their attention on the expectations of the public, creating a subtle blend of sounds from jazz, electro-swing, funk, disco, with the Roaring Twenties aesthetics, the unexpected neo-burlesque  And contemporary dynamics.
