The ESC’s sound is a powerful combination of vintage samples, electro beats, gypsy-jazz guitar, electric double bass, keys, live drums and dirty synths. Fronted by an engaging female double-act, who perform an extensive variety of vocal styles, the ESC delivers a consistently dazzling show.

'Remixed Vol.1' is the first of a 2 part multi-genre remix release of tracks from the 2nd album by the ESC; It Flew By. We plan to keep the Electro-Swing scene as diverse as it wants to be right here.

All the stops have been pulled on this release, with remixers taking the original material in all directions. The EP features a classic swing house remix of Hit & Run by the one and only Wolfgang Lohr, a killer Jump Up DnB remix of Remedy by Featurecast, some of the finest wobbliness from stateside Glitch Hop leaders SpekrFreks, an extremely heavy & haunting DnB remix of It's Okay, from some of the best producers on the DnB scene - Document One. And last but not least, one of Electro Swing's leading star's, Jamie Berry's big bass remix of Mr Magpie.

Electro Swing Thing's 24th release is a remix by Wolfgang Lohr from Varrick Frost's cover version "Sweet Dreams", starring Alanna Lyes on vocals. The original "Sweet Dreams (Are Made of This)" is a song by the British new wave music duo Eurythmics and was released in 1983. Its music video helped to propel the song to number 2 on the UK Singles Chart and number 1 on the US Billboard Hot 100. Wolfgang Lohr has now remixed it in 2019 into a new electro swing crowd pleaser with lots of power, catchy melody lines, vintage elements and a new hook. Alanna Lyes voice gives this production a fresh and hot touch. „Sweet Dreams“ is now ready for the club and can be heard anywhere else!

Wolfgang Lohr is one of the world's well-known producers of this genre and the singer Alanna Lyes is considered the queen of Electro Swing. It's their 4th single collaboration and you won't be disappointed this time either.
