This track is about my betrayal to Aki over Ril ( not her real name ).  I have to live with that. No matter what my good intentions were it was wrong. A burden I have to carry. Many times I was faced with similar scenarios, ex’s of my friends,after breaking up,wanting to get with me because of who I was. but I never crossed the line no matter how much they tried. You just didn’t go there but other guys never cared about doing it to others. Friendship has never truly been the same. Ril use to date one of my close school friends for many years but they broke up. His Parents didn’t approve as they were strict orthodox and she was Indian. They would remain friends, even when , he married , then separated and her with her many relationships and two children. He put me into contact with her ( as I thought I was this superstar guy ). She was going to help me get into a field of business . We met. She told me she was going through or considering I.V.F.
( said hold on ). We spoke more intimately. The ‘sell’ was on. She knew my heart , she knew my kindness, all through my friend and the many times we would all catch up. She had been working in the field ( the oldest profession- they say ) ( SEX ) ,with me helping her with her wish of a child with a stable guy, was financially able too , the hook now on, in full throttle. She was an attractive lady. I never wanted to pursue anything with her apart from ( our deal ). The words still ring in my ears. The memory of that evening like a video in my mind ( You wouldn’t marry a woman like me ? ). Her boys seemed to love me . Within a month we got married on a hot Valentine’s Day. I told my friend but he gathered something was brewing. He hadn’t seen me for weeks and ‘he knew’ Ril ( how she would have used her sex appeal to entice me ). The night before we were to get married , ‘cracks’ were appearing and  I was seeing the real Ril. walk away and count my losses Sas,  but ( I’m stubborn), I wanted to show , her past didn’t concern me, it’s how she conducts herself from this point on. The abuse started, the assaults, the put downs, the threats on my life. All because she wanted to return to her field. She loved the money , the fact she couldn’t purchase those luxury accessories she dearly loved , use to and more. When she would put me down, abuse me, lay her hands on me, I would leave. I would sleep out on the streets, park benches, at the beach, sometimes back at mums and to my friend’s kindness , him and his partner would sometimes take me in their home. To me it felt like It was a dream ( but this was real ). She would say she loved me, get the kids to call, I would go back to her, the cycle continued for a year. One day, I relented. I had her mother at me, saying she needs more financially than what you are offering, so (please let her go) .I let her go one evening. She returned to her old job. Next morning around 5-6 she returned home excited, happy. She flashed all this money she made, $100 bills , spread on the bed. Wanted to get ‘intimate’ with me but I felt sick. I was awake all night. I had taken pills to calm me, help me sleep, nothing work. I went to the kitchen took a large knife to cut myself and my private parts to bits. She saw all this unfolding and police were called. Within minutes they were at the door. Station was just down the road where we live. Took 4-5 to take me down. I didn’t resist. Laughed when they hit me behind my knees and dropped me then 2-3 jumped on me. Jail cell for the night. Shock treatment the next day and hell for a month. She signed the forms. Each day I would wake up not knowing where I was. She would visit me and each day I asked her what did I do to be put in here. My mums heart broken. We reconciled ( again ). But there was no I.V.F. happening. I put a stop to that. Once I got well I moved back home ( to mum ). The first night she stayed outside my home calling my mums number telling her, her son has got me pregnant, (he needs to come home). Again I reconciled. Sent her to University to study Pathology. She passed and I was proud of her as she was looking to work in that field. But her put downs continued. I wasn’t a ( real man ). I couldn’t have a child of my own, the IVF tests showed. I was shattered at learning that and then hurt when she would , whenever she wanted to break me down, this was what she went to. It worked. Over the next few months I could see it was nearing its end. This ‘act’ was over. Curtain closing. I bought a car,  for her to be taking the kids to school. She sold it. Didn’t care about the kids. Who knows what she did with the money as it was a lot. ,but we were apart for a month. I went back for a week but couldn’t forgive her for what she did. A selfish act. I would never return. She found someone else. Who did I think I was? Lost everything. Black Widow. EX
