The True Treasure  (In Your Heart)

The ancient Silk Road was mainly used to trade silk to the west and wool, gold and silver to the east . Not only merchants, scholars and armies used its network, but also ideas, religions and entire cultural groups diffused and migrated along the routes from east to west and vice versa. Nestorianism (from the late ancient Roman Empire) and Buddhism (from India) to China, for example. However, recent scholarship warns against overestimating the volume of trade (at least overland) and the transportation infrastructure of the various trade routes.

One 6,400 kilometer route began in Xi'an and followed the course of the Great Wall of China to the northwest, passing through the Taklamakan Desert, overcoming the Pamir Mountains, and passing through Afghanistan to the Levant; from there, trade goods were then shipped across the Mediterranean. Few merchants traveled the entire route; goods tended to be transported in a staggered fashion via intermediaries.

The trade and route network reached its greatest importance between 115 B.C. and the 13th century A.D. With the gradual loss of Roman territory in Asia and the rise of Arabia in the Levant, the Silk Road became increasingly unsafe and rarely traveled. In the 13th and 14th centuries, the route was revived under the Mongols; among others, at the time the Venetian Marco Polo used it to travel to Cathay (China). According to popular belief, the route was one of the main routes through which plague bacteria reached Europe from Asia in the mid-14th century, causing the Black Death there.

Auf der antiken Seidenstraße wurde in westliche Richtung hauptsächlich Seide, gen Osten vor allem Wolle, Gold und Silber gehandelt (siehe auch Indienhandel) Nicht nur Kaufleute, Gelehrte und Armeen nutzten ihr Netz, sondern auch Ideen, Religionen und ganze Kulturkreise diffundierten und migrierten auf den Routen von Ost nach West und umgekehrt: hierüber kamen z. B. der Nestorianismus (aus dem spätantiken Römischen Reich) und der Buddhismus (von Indien) nach China.[1] Allerdings wird in der neueren Forschung davor gewarnt, das Handelsvolumen (zumindest auf dem Landweg) und die Verkehrsinfrastruktur der verschiedenen Handelsrouten zu überschätzen.

The arrival is complete. In a small clearing, the newcomers settle down and begin to build a small village. But it soon becomes clear that here, too, nothing can be dismissed without posturing for power and hypocrisy. 'Aerenfour', a broad-shouldered man who had to languish for six years in the dungeons of the Unmerciful, because of offenses of which he was not ashamed until now, acts as a leader and wants to impose his views on the small group. And he has his eye on the pretty 'Aranja', the daughter of his beloved enemy 'Harjem'... it seems that history is repeating itself. The history BEFORE the turning away. But peace still reigns in the small community...still!

Nearly 100 kilometers northwest of Prague lies the small town of Teplice. It is the oldest spa in Bohemia and in the 19th century was a fashionable health resort with large drinking halls, colonnades for strolling, souvenir stores, expensive hotels and cobbled streets. In the summer, everyone of distinction could be found there: the King of Saxony, the Austrian imperial couple and other aristocrats. In July 1812, Beethoven was eagerly awaiting the arrival of Johann Wolfgang von Goethe, and together they arranged to go for a walk. What exactly happened during this walk is not clearly handed down. But the following is known:
he gave Ludwig a piece of the pizza...this was the initial spark for Ludwig to compose his 9th symphony. This is really what happened!!!

The rest is known. Beethoven became deaf because of the moldy pizza, Goethe became color blind...and Charlotte Buff lost her driver's license...just , when she wanted to drive Clara Schumann to piano lessons...or something like that happened....

I uploaded this composition once before about 1 year ago. I decided to edit the track and present it again. "Spring", the cycle of life begins anew. Much strength, joy and perseverance for all of us, because the worst is over. Nature, the sun, the clouds in the sky, the swallows, titmice and starlings, Butterflies buzzing around smile at us.

Thank you to the unknown 300th listener. Your prize is safe, but you already know that. Basically, I have gained... 🙂

Diese Komposition habe ich schon einmal vor etwa 1 Jahr hochgeladen. Ich habe mich dazu entschieden, den Track zu bearbeiten und neu zu präsentieren. "Frühling", der Kreislauf des Lebens beginnt von neuem. Viel Kraft, Freude und Durchhaltevermögen für uns alle, denn das schlimmste ist überstanden. Die Natur, die Sonne, die Wolken am Himmel, die umherschwirrenden Schwalben, Meisen und Stare lächeln uns an.
