* Composer's Note: This is a beautiful hymn, and one that many people are familiar with currently due to the popularity of the film "Sister Act." Although that version is copyrighted and therefore, unrecordable, the Eleitian Concert Orchestra had the idea to do something similar, but add in a montuno section in the middle. This section skillfully layers the Tenors/Basses, followed by the Altos, Soprano IIs, and Soprano Is, before ultimately changing back to a more classic hymn structure. It was wonderful to be able to compose and arrange a new and exciting piece built off of the classic hymn. Truly a beautiful piece to be able to work on with the ensemble!

* Composer's Note: This charming song is the official National Anthem of the Republic of New Eleitia, one of the world's best-kept micronations. The Republic of New Eleitia recently celebrated its first decade of existence, turning 10 years old on October 10, 2020.
As such we are proud to present to you our national anthem, composed September 21, 2015.
Employing the use of the EWN's sterling full orchestral accompaniment, as well as a large 55 voice choir, this stirring piece evokes pride in the hearts of every Eleitian citizen out there in the world today.

* Composer's Note: I love the soaring melody in this hymn, the soprano section of the ECO did a wonderful job. This particular hymn is less arranged than some of the others, the choir wanted to do a more or less simple hymn with only the organ.

* Composer's Note: This is a simply stunning hymn! I knew from the start that I wanted to have a very mystical opening, incorporating bar chimes and a bass drone, before introducing the soloists and finally an a cappella harmony. Very pleased with how the choir interpreted this gorgeous piece!

* Composer's Note: This is an absolutely beautiful hymn that I found to be highly fitting for the final track in this album. I had heard the version performed at the Big Sing for the Last Night At The Proms, and fell in love with it. The bombastic orchestration heard here closely mimics that arrangement, while still being completely original. This is such a stirring hymn to hear recorded!
