On that sunny and hot day in August, Hekske - the little witch – suddenly felt the urge to collect flower seeds.  Also Falke – the 10-year old witch apprentice – felt the same and the girls immediately started to pick seeds from all corners of their home forest in Flanders, and they even asked some dunnocks and finches to go and search in the nearby fields and marshlands.  A couple of hours later, they had collected hundreds of seeds from dozens of different plant species.  The two girls meticulously packed the seeds in 2 pouches, which they put around their neck before taking off from a clearing.  They flew the whole day in Eastern direction over mountains and valleys, before the little witch sensed they had reached her destination on the bank of the mighty Dnieper River, where they were being welcomed by Mriya (Мрія), a twelve year-old witch whom Hekske had already met in February (see Witchtape #117).  
After a long welcome hug, Mriya explained that she was sad because this year there were - for no apparent reason - no flowers in the lowlands around the river, while there were lots of butterflies.  Then Hekske and Falke smiled at each other and showed their pouches which were brimful of flower seeds.  Мрія was speechless and moved to tears.  And just at that moment, witches were arriving through the mist from all directions, even from places as far away as the shores of the Baltic sea and the banks of the river Ob.  And they all carried a pouch of flower seeds.  After the initial excitement, they suddenly realized that the soil was bone-dry, so the seeds could not be sown.  But just when all the witches had lost hope, they heard the hum of an airplane in the distance.  Through the mist, they were unable to see what was approaching them, but the sound was way louder than from any plane they knew.  And then the huge airplane with 6 engines broke through the clouds with a deafening roar, straight over the heads of the witches.  Strangely, the plane split the low clouds and a path of blue sky opened up.  The witches looked at each other and decided to take off and follow the path in the sky, while throwing the flower seeds on the soil underneath them.  And when the path in the clouds closed again, raindrops started to fall.  The witches were soon soaked to the bone, but happy when they saw the flower seeds germinate and grow into a green carpet (helped by a ‘growth accelerator’ spell).  The next morning, all the flowers were blooming and the butterflies were frenetically drinking sweet nectar from the colorful flower carpet.  Mriya and all other witches, watched this spectacle in a cheerful mood, after which they went swimming in the mighty Dnieper River.  Dreams never die…

It took some time for me to recover from that insane new years party... probably already my favourite get-together this year. So many familiar faces - so many awesome people to start this new turn with and for sure the very best opportunity to play my brand new and never heard before solo liveset there infront of a bunch of beloved people.

I wanna say thank you to everyone who helped organize this terrific event and to everyone who attended and celebrated with us.

Nach einer kleinen Pause geht es heute in die nächste Runde meiner kleine Live-Produktions-Session … alles LIVE gespielt … nix aus der Konserve. Die Nummer 6 der kleinen Session kommt diese Woche von meinem besonderen Freund Daniel Zuur aus Amsterdam. Der Wirbelwind aus Holland ist mit seinem Projekt KRAUT in den letzten Jahren fast überall in Europa anzutreffen … und das zurecht.

Die Live-Session die ich euch heute präsentieren darf wurde gespielt auf der Pleinvrees ADE Party letztes Jahr … Daniel hat die Aufnahme extra für mich aufgehoben … hach <3

Daniel hab ich das erste Mal letztes Jahr auf dem Katzensprung Festival getroffen wo er mir quasi Freitag früh aus dem Zelt direkt vor die Füße gekullert ist, mit den Worte „Hello my friend … how are you“. Mit seinem DJ-Kollegen Sauerkraut war ich dann mit den beiden Jungs das ganze Festival unterwegs. Und was soll ich sagen … mir tat am Schluss nur noch der Lachmuskel weh. Am Sonntag hieß es dann überall nur mehr … „ah da kommt Elektro Uwe and his Krauts“.

Es gibt einfach so Begegnungen auf Festivals da weiß man einfach … DAS PASST !!!

Danke Daniel für deine Musik, dein Sein und deine positive Art … 

Und nun wünsch ich meinen Hörern viel Spaß mit einer großen Portion Kraut und Liebe.

Soundcloud.com/roswithamusic and I could never have imagined that opening the Dickicht floor would turn out like this... As soon as the first sounds echoed through the forest, the sun started shining through the leaves of the trees and before we knew it the dance floor was filled with dancing creatures. 
What a vibe we created together so early in the morning - we are still overwhelmed - thank you all who got out of their tent to dance with us :)!
