The Hills To The East

Somnium is Lesser Light’s first release on our new label with which the South African DJ and producer draws his audience to the darker side of the Techno realm. As his project stands for exactly that, deep, raw techno combined with dark textures and hypnotic rhythms. The main title “Somnium” is a raw Techno track with a floating lead synth that forms a hypnotic and driving unit with the deep rumble textures which could transcend many a raver into a state of trance. In Aether, Lesser Light continues the raw form of techno, albeit a little more minimalistic than the title track. But thats not all, the EP is completed by a remix by The Electronic Advance & DJ Nasty Deluxe. Their peak-time interpretation is powerful and driving with cool tribal and rave elements. Statement: An absolutely strong release, with three tracks that should convince everyone. The single is now available in all stores and on all well-known streaming services! A sure must have for every DJ Playlist.

If you ask what is happening here ;-) Well, I switched from a Cubase-based product to Ableton live some time ago and am trying to learn more ;-) 

So I made a mini circus-goa-tech-whatever-you-say-it-is-song that was actually meant for beat practicing.  It's a bit circus-like, so: Manege frei! subtitled: "Stressed out clowns" ;-)  

For this little one I made some colourful video again with a little bit of AI and some rushy footage of a small trip to Innsbruck and some sportive bikers in Vienna :-) If you wanna listen to the whole track you can hear/see on my youtube /@chrisdebug or on my soundcloud /chrisdebug

Since I am not sure if I mixed it the right way (usually don't do so bassy music) , so I guess earphones maybe an upgrade for the experience ;-)

Manege frei! OR A stressed out Clown

There is a song with a great new collaboration partner of mine: Boerni, who has a wonderful voice and also plays electric zither (which is actually an traditional Austrian instrument and seldomly found as an electronic 🔌 version). We met rather by chance, but sometimes it's just from such coincidences that something new arises. 🌞 So I'm proud to show you a small snippet of the new track "Grasshopper"

The song is meant to show collage-like the torn sides of (I guess) each person. It is meant to show on one side the lostness/helplessness that can overtake you in everyday life. In the second half you can hopefully hear that it always goes up again ;-)
