Askondo ist ein DJ, Produzent, Multi-Instrumentalist und digitaler Künstler aus Berlin.
Bereits Im Alter von 8 Jahren fing er an mit Sequenzern am Computer zu experimentieren. Schon bald entdeckte er die Magie des Beatmatching von Schallplatten und begann als DJ Schallplatten aufzulegen.
In seiner Jugend haben Künstler wie Daft Punk, Röyksopp, Trentemöller oder Northern Lite ihn und seinen Stil maßgeblich beeinflusst. Es gab aber auch Einflüsse durch härteren Techno a la Tresor.
Seit einer Weile arbeitet er bei der Musik-Tech Firma Ableton, welche auch die Software entwickelt, mit der er seine Musik produziert und aufführt. 
Sein Stil zeichnet sich durch tiefe Basslines, epische Synth-Leads, verspieltes Sounddesign sowie einem Hauch von (elektro-)akustischen Instrumenten wie Klavier, Gitarre und Cello
