ELEMEK est un groupe français constitué de deux musiciens curieux et multi-instrumentistes (d'abord chanteuse et bassiste), issus d'une génération inspirée par des musiques du monde entier, de la pop à l'électro, du jazz au trip-hop en passant par les musiques improvisées.
Sur scène, le duo navigue entre leurs instruments, les machines, des boucles musicales et des programmations sonores ou rythmiques créées en live. Pour être au plus près de l'énergie du moment, de ce qui se passe ici et maintenant, entre chansons et improvisations.
 
Les sons organiques de la voix et de la basse constituent la base de ce duo d'explorateurs. Mais le désir de transcender ce socle par la découverte de nouveaux matériaux est au cœur de leurs recherches.
Elaborée autour du travail des sons électroniques mêlés aux instruments acoustiques (calebasse, kalimba,...), la musique d'ELEMEK trouve sa voie dans des créations originales privilégiant la mélodie, les textures sonores et le groove, laissant pointer de loin en loin un état entre danse et transe.

An eclectic and open minded musician, Thomas Julienne is a bassist, as well as a composer and arranger. After jazz studies at the Conservatory of Agen and classical music studies in Bordeaux, he obtained in 2014 the Diplôme National Supérieur Professionnel de Musicien at the Pôle Supérieur Paris Boulogne Billancourtthrough training at the Centre des Musiques Didier Lockwood.

He studied with Jean-Paul Macé, Kent Carter, Gilles Naturel, Marc-Michel Lebevillon, Cristian Diaz, Jean Michel Charbonel, Chris Jennings, Christophe Dal-Sasso, and Carine Bonnefoy (for writing). This is how he discovered how enriching new encounters and new horizons could be - from jazz to classical music through Arabic, rock and electronic music (Mingus, Lili Boulanger, Bjork, The silver mount zion or The Bad Plus…).

He worked with groups such as Theorem of Joy, reQ, The Bibao gaga memories, United Fools and UHT° - projects which all mix cultures and influences.

Diwanimi cherche en permanence à forger une écriture improvisée. Cette quête paradoxale, qui se révèle une
source intarissable d’images poétiques, est une errance volontaire à traver les mélodies traditionnelles centenaires,
les compositions et l’improvisation débridée issue de l’esprit du jazz.
C’est un paradoxe qui permet de tisser une nouvelle géographie musicale susceptible d’accueillir les singularités
des différents musiciens de Diwanimi.
Cette liberté potentielle proposée dans chaque structure fera qu’on ne « sort pas indemne » après chaque pièce
et qu’on ne « traverse pas la rivière deux fois ». Diwanimi fait sentir le « Maqam oriental » mais il le mêle à une
dissonance totalement différente, à un détour totalement libre. Ainsi, le Maquam se trouve porté dans d’autres
territoires. Diwanimi est un permis de (dé)construire et d’expérimenter en toute liberté.

Prus Dall'Oltrefiaba, stage name of the singer/songwriter Daniele Peracchia. Born in 1982 in Revello (Cuneo's province).
"Vostok" is the title of his new album released on September 21, 2015 for the label Scene Music Records.

Produced by the controversial artist and experimental producer Paul Fattorini, "Vostok" is a record that sounds fully reflected in the poetic dreamlike and decadence of the artist, who with this new work leaves no room for doubts or interpretations regarding the industrial sound direction matrix.
The most canonical instruments of the previous album give way to a meticulous and maniacal research that manages to be aggressive but romantic and melancholy at the same time.
Metal bins instead of battery cases, iron plates and sampling explosions instead of snare drums, chains and nails as cymbals and hi hat, screeching harmonics obtained by closing gates or iron rods scraped on each other.
The bass played like a guitar and guitars as noise generator or lancinating feedback, jack left dangling to generate sparkling voltage ranges of electricity, the cries of a humanity almost drifted, distorted synth, no reassuring church choirs and dreamy bells are the evidence that this Prus record is really an handcrafted work with great impact and originality.
Inspired by german bands like Einstürzende Neubauden, the Swedish Fever Ray or Austrian Soap & Skin, "Vostok" with its scratching and no accommodating lyrics is certainly a very artistic project and not prone for marketing calculations or strategies.

2014 - The beginning of his collaboration with the artist/producer Paul Fattorini, with which produces the new album "Vostok".
- The video clip of the first single "Just Like Frankenstein", wins the award for the Best Independent Video clip at Video Clips Festival in Rome.

2015 - "Just Like Frankenstein" wins the award for the Best Cinematography at Widescreen Film and Music Video Festival in Miami
