AKA NINA, born and raised in Switzerland.
One decade ago she found herself drawn into the heart of the techno scene in Berlin. This is where she dedicated her time to studying sound engineering and music production, and here she also started to DJ on a regular base.

Her music style varies from minimalistic dark and groovy beats to more intense and hypnotic techno. In both, her production and in her DJ sets, Nina aims to combine classic techno elements with psychedelic and organic sound design.

During the last two years, AKA NINA released her own music on several labels like Soupherb Records, Occultech Recordings, Digital Structures, Padang Records, Pointzero Rec, and Psy4Aliens.

Nina has had the pleasure to perform at famous festivals, like Boom (PT), Modem (HR), Masters of Puppets (CZ), Shankra (CH), Fora de Tempo (PT), Odyssee (DE). She played at world-renowned clubs in Berlin such as Sisyphos, Mensch Meier, and Kitkat and at the same time she became a resident DJ for the xXETEXx parties, a well-established crew in the electronic Berlin scene.

🇧🇷  Um set bem diferente dos muitos que vocês já me viram tocar, que mistura muitas das referências da minha vivência que começou em 1997, no início da minha jornada nesse mundo através dos clubs e da cena clubber de São Paulo, aonde jamais imaginei que me levaria aonde me encontro nesse momento. 

E embora viva e respire o PsyTrance e sua cultura desde 2004, jamais deixei de semear minhas raízes, que foram regadas e cultivadas ao ver artistas como Murphy, Anderson Noise, Huntemann, Bodzin, Dubfire, Hawtin e principalmente um cidadão chamado D-Nox, o qual durante anos e anos foi o responsável por fazer a alegria de toda uma geração apaixonada por PsyTrance, quando encerrava as pistas da Tribe, Universo Paralello e dezenas de outros festivais que abriam as portas para união e expansão da nossa mente.

E esse é o meu convite a você! Expanda seus horizontes e se deixe experimentar novas sensações através de outros estilos. Deixe de lado os sentimentos negativos, pois a verdadeira alma da música, não vê distinção de velocidade ou de tribos, ela é pura e simplesmente um instrumento de expansão e conexão da nossa mente.

🇬🇧 A very different set from the many you've seen me playing, which mixes some of the references from my experience that began in 1997, at the beginning of my journey in this music world through clubs in São Paulo, where I never imagined it would take me where I am at the moment.

And although today I live and breathe PsyTrance and its culture since 2004, I never stopped to follow my roots, which were cultivated by seeing artists like Murphy, Anderson Noise, Huntemann, Bodzin, Dubfire, Hawtin and especially a guy called D-Nox , which for years and years was responsible for making an entire generation passionate happy.

And this is my invitation to you! Expand your horizons and let yourself experience new sensations through other styles. Leave negative feelings aside, because the true soul of music does not see distinctions of speed or tribes, it is purely and simply an instrument for expanding and connecting our mind.

After a history of hijacking bluetooth-speakers, Jane Chevap is in the DJ game purely for the joy of sharing her most beloved tunes and playlists that have been collected and curated over years. Not one to shy away from dancefloors across Melbourne, or across the world, from open-air barefoot to dark and moody venues.
Her flavour has evolved into a distinct combination of organic house, tribal/ethnic chant & percussion, roaming sitar riffs, and never lacking deep and chunky bass that encourages the ecstatic dancer in all of us. You will likely end up somewhere very different to where you started through her sets.
As a true music lover, each track in her sets has passed through Jane’s ears and heart leaving a mark, demanding a deeper part of her mind and body be present. She hopes it does the same to whoever is listening and dancing.
