Sub6 é definitivamente um dos projetos mais originais da história do Psy-trance. Os irmãos Ohad & Golan Aharony são considerados produtores de primeira linha, pois apresentam um estilo original de Trance que não pode ser categorizado como Full-on ou Progressive.

Alguns preferem chamá-lo de trance alternativo ou de fusão devido ao dub-reggae e ‘influências musicais de banda dos anos 90. depois de lançar vários sucessos como “Rahe’ya” e “7th son”, Sub6 lançou seu álbum de estréia, “Who needs love songs” em 2004 pela Hommega Records), que é marcado como um marco na música Psy-trance. o álbum foi seguido por lançamentos de faixas em grandes gravadoras como Ministry of sound e Warner, e shows ao vivo nos principais locais como Brixton Academy (Londres) Agehaut (Tóquio) Earthcore (Austrália) e Voov (Alemanha).
