This is unapologetically inspired by the A-side to one of my favorite albums of all time. I'll let you guess which album that is - if you are older than 50 it will most likely be easier.

A lot of us spend our lives chasing a dream, and despite reaching milestone after milestone the dream is always just beyond our reach. If you're lucky all you need to do is stop and think - maybe you're already there. I was reminded about this when told a story about a popular beach boatman asked by a hedge fund manager why he doesn't invest in an additional boat. After many questions the investor tells him that after years he could become so financially successful that he could spend his afternoons with his family and friends. The boatman tells him that after his morning fishing run that is already what he does. 

The guitar is a Logic Pro X Heavy Metal Guitar. For the drums I "mixed it up" a bit by using more reverb on the snare than on the rest of the drums. Also had a hi-hat in there initially but I took it out as I thought it muddied up the sound too much. In general I debated how much reverb to use and progressively used less and less to try and warm it up. For the bass I combined an electric bass with a traditional standing base. I departed from my usual approach of trying to reproduce as natural a piano sound as possible by using equalization to mainly remove some of the high and low end - the purpose being to create a "lo-fi" sound. Finally, the synth is Nord Native and treated with some ringshift to get the moving in and out your ears effect.

Here comes a new song from me (Robert Lillemäe) and Sabrina ( Sabina Larsson) A new day, a new song and this time we decided to make a new song dedicated to my sister who past away in cancer (Carina Bengtsson) we named this "Never Be The Same" It is a Dance & Edm track in 130 Bpm. We don't know if you gonna like it or not so please, please tell us...and we hope that you gonna recognize our rhythms and melodies. This will be one of our last songs here, me and Sabrina are signing under to a new record label so we don't know the deal on uploading songs there yet, hopefully it's not gonna be a problem.. Thank you Sabrina for creating music with me and for this song, it could not be done without you... Love and Respect from Robert and Sabrina. (When your eyes go out? we all have memories. I have lost four friends in four months. Death is an inevitable part of life, but too often, those close to us are gone far too soon. I could not be there for any of you; the miles that separated us are too distant and your departure was too sudden.

By means of some weather sounds, I oppose precise dark parts to more colored ones, with serious work till 3:25 when I had fun jamming, so you can skip to 4:20 & enjoy great outro !!

Clarinet was borrowed from my sister for summer practice. Reed & keywork managing is difficult for a beginner, & home cohabitance was set on serious risk, but with painful effort I got something presentable, or so I hope, as not willing to repeat soon...
