Welcome back to the Magician On Duty Podcast Series!

On this month's edition, we welcome Savaggio & Konsounds

Welcome to “famiglia Savaggio”. This is Rudi and Toni. In the beginning we lived in Berlin. There, like scientists, we experimented. We started to play live, sometimes with a violin. We watched as our audiences showed surprise and then excitement. As we toured, we refined our signature sound. 

We made good friends. 
We made music with them. 
And sometimes they came to join the party. 

One such friend is Konstantin, aka Konsounds. We came across  in the Pacific NorthWest on our journey. Together, we embarked on a quest to find the Magician on Duty, rumored to inhabit the space between story-telling and music. Which brings us here.

We hope you enjoy this episode as much as we did creating it!

Feierabend 

Schon während ich durch die Haustür eintrete, streife ich in einer fast fließenden Bewegung erst die Jacke, dann meine Schuhe ab. Ich gehe in die Küche und bereite mir einen kleinen Snack zu. Gut gestärkt und hundemüde mache ich es mir in einem Wohnzimmer bequem. Die Jeans wird gegen eine Jogginghose eingetauscht und ein verwaschener in Hoodie in Windeseile übergestreift. Ich schalte den Fernseher ein und zappe durch die Serien und Dokus, des Streaming-Anbieters meines Vertrauens. Bereits nach kurzer Zeit wird mir klar, dass ich die gewünschte Entspannung hier nicht finden werde. Kurzerhand wechsele ich ins Fernsehprogramm rüber und genehmige mir ein bisschen Trash-TV Unterhaltung. Doch auch das stillt mein Verlangen nach Ausgleich zum Feierabend nicht. Nun sitze ich vor einem schwarzen Bildschirm und starre auf eine weiße Wand. Circa 10 Minuten später klingelt mein Handy. Gedankenverloren nehme ich den Anruf entgegen und lausche der Stimme aus meinem Smartphone. Ein paar Kumpels von mir wollen spontan in die nächstgelegene Stadt zu einer Studentenparty. Die Einladung kommt wie gerufen. Theoretisch wäre ich nach einem langen Arbeitstag wie diesem definitiv reif fürs Bett, doch so ein Angebot kann ich jetzt nicht ausschlagen. Also schmeiße ich mich wieder in Schale und freue mich darauf, mir die nächste Nacht um die Ohren zu schlagen. 

Der heutige Podcast von West & Hill dient der Entspannung und dem inneren Ausgleich. Organische Instrumente und Tonfolgen vereinen sich mit beruhigenden Rhythmen und sanft-säuselnden Vocals.
