I originally created this track around August of 2013 as a fun experiment with sampling a vocal as a playable instrument. I loved the chill vibe, and I remember the track just growing organically out into different directions.

This track began with me simply playing with a trap feel in my drums. The lead went through several transitions before it became what you hear today. 

About halfway through it organically became much more minimal. I love the individual showcase it allows for each sound in this section.

This track was produced on June 16th, 2015. The beat go hard tho.

I had a lot of fun with this one. I transcribed the lead to Autumn Leaves from the sheet music. Then I sound designed an almost etherial, yet impactful and gorgeous lead instrument. Throw in some fat hip hop drums and I'm happy with the result. :)

I was lost in the image. It was a landscape, but something was off... 

It didn't matter. It was beautiful. And I started writing.

This track was born on Sept 9. This is a bounce from that same day. Very little mixing work. It was a quick musical channel, going with the feelings from the image. This is likely the final form it will take. I'll leave it here.

Have you ever played Donkey Kong? Do you remember the mine levels? There were such great clanking and mechanical noises. After playing around with some sounds, I stumbled upon one that hit my inspiration switch. (The main “bright sliding” sound in the first beat drop.)

Feverishly getting to work as usual, I busted out this deep, “mine inspired” song. It conjures up images of mine carts, platforming and fun for me.
