Echoes Within

Bathed in my reason,
my eyes never easen the fray.
They forsake me.
Words of men won’t save me.

Underneath my skin she sings to me lies.
Answers in the dark,
fooled by her devise,
I would never find.
Till I hear the voice of the light in me.

Poisoned by her lies,
tears flow from my eyes.
And in the midst of strife I will
choose the light.

Been away for a while. Writing some songs and stuff.
