Hybrasil’s Elevator Program turns out the next body of work from a course graduate. Next on the label is Ethos, a Dublin based producer and DJ who recently honed his craft under the guidance of the tuition program.

They present to you three thunderous techno tracks with a rugged edge for the peak hours of the night, the debut release from the exciting new producer - “Devil’s Paradise”. Multiple decades of fascination with electronic music has led Ethos to this stage of his life, drawing early influences from the likes of Kraftwerk and The Prodigy, recording tapes at a young age and listening to
them over and over again.

This organic curiosity for music led him to 20 years worth of travel working in bars, exploring different scenes and culture before heading to Dublin where he himself would learn to DJ and then begin to produce in 2022 with Elevator, bringing us right up to his first outing as a producer.

“Stropharia” opens the EP, it is intricately made for huge, industrial settings, nodding your mind towards illegal warehouse parties and concrete jungles. The dance floor quickly loses their sense of reality with this driven outing. Title track “Devil’s Paradise” is a pulsating trip, the chugging belly of the track
conversing with the ravey beeps and bleeps. The last track “E.S.R” maintains the animated energy of the release, keeping the raw vibe at the heartbeat of every movement.

A debut EP from Ethos, showcasing his diverse sound across the three tracks with many other productions also on the way, and Elevator once again providing a solid platform for their course graduates, now extending their affiliation even further.

Ethos is a techno concept based in Dublin Ireland. The concept was born in 2022 with debut releases coming in July 2023 on the Elevator Program. Ethos is an ancient Greek term used to describe music’s moral force in educating the soul, the mind, and the behaviour of an individual. This became known as the doctrine of Ethos.

Starting from the ground up, through mentorship with Hybrasil, Ethos developed a solid foundation and a deep understanding of Ableton and advanced music production. Following all the steps, he has now produced his first EP Devil’s Paradise on Elevator Program Label. July 28th, 2023.

PRESS RELEASE:

REOSC conjures up his next body of work on the Elevator Program label with “The Universe Speaks Techno”. The Irishman takes us on a meandering trip through various shades of his techno artillery, spread out across four innovative tracks for the peak hours of the night.

In recent years REOSC has come into his own with a handful of acclaimed releases including his debut album “Reosc!llate” which was received with open arms, as well as his EP “Here & Now”. Paying testament to these releases was his nod of approval from DJ Mag as he featured in their Bubblers series, one to watch for the future. As well as honing his craft as a turntable wizard, REOSC has also founded the Ireland based 3M (Music Machines Masters) opening doors and giving a platform to up and coming artists in his native country.

Title track “The Universe Speaks Techno” is pulsating from the heart, driven by an enormous kick, leaning towards the industrial direction. Following in line is “The Cut” , further enormous energy for trained ears looking to transcend the dance floor to new states of mind. Next up is “Leprechaun Funk”, a six minute trip traversing between distinct, and gloomy atmospheres moving mechanically from the get go. Last but not least is “Stripes”. REOSC creates an elasticated kick and clap combination, ready to stretch the mind of the listener, pushing the energy of the club to uncharted territory.

REOSC continues with this four tracker, exploring deeper and darker energy in this release. An EP built for the warehouses and industrial settings from a producer consistently on the rise.

The Brvtalist is pleased to premiere a new track from Hybrasil. "Release" comes off the new EP, Kontrol, forthcoming on the legendary CLR imprint. The two-tracker from the Irish artist starts with the title cut, effortlessly blending inky atmospheres, crunchy rhythms and hurried highs. The artist with credits on Rekids Special Projects and his eponymous Hybrasil label follows up with ‘Release’, a jackin’, vocal-infused track with hard-hitting drums and dark synths. ‘Kontrol’ is the kind of quality, heady Techno Hybrasil has become known for since the project’s inception in 2016.
