This track, Impromptu in G flat is the third in Schubert’s first set of impromptus, D. 899, was written between the two halves of Winterreise in 1827, the year before his untimely death.

A lot is happening in my life at this moment. Sometimes for me music is a way to escape all the stuff, that makes life complicated. I started working on this new ep and had a lot of emotions and thoughts, which were in need of some form of expression. I really hope you like my compositions, because I put a lot of love, time and work into these. From writing to playing the tracks in a recording environment - I did everything on my own! :)

01 Mozart I. Adagio - Allegro

Gayane (Gayaneh or Gayne (the e is pronounced); Armenian: Գայանե; Russian: Гаянэ) is a four-act ballet with music by Aram Khachaturian. 


Act III

Kurd's settlement in a mountainous area near the kolkhoz. Many people are there, including Gayane's brother Armen, a Kurdish girl Aishe, and a Kurdish young man Izmail who loves her. Then appear Giko and the three smugglers, who ask Armen their way. Wondering what they are after, he sends some Kurdish youths to fetch Kazakov. Noticing this, Giko and his gang try to kill Armen, but Kazakov arrives just in time, and arrests the three smugglers. However, Giko escapes and sets fire to the cotton warehouse. Trying to flee in the confusion of the moment, Giko is found by Gayane, who has managed to break out of the room in which she was imprisoned. Giko threatens Gayane that he will drop their child Ripsime from a cliff. As Gayane does not yield, Giko stabs her with a dagger. Hearing her shriek, Kazakov rushes in and arrests Giko, who will be brought to justice. Kazakov tends Gayane devotedly and she recovers. Love grows between the two.

Of 20th-century composers of concert music, Sergei Prokofiev (1891-1953) left pianists with one of the more substantial bodies of work in traditional showcase formats: five piano concertos and nine piano sonatas, along with suites and other short-form works for solo piano.

In two Jordan Hall concerts, January 28 and February 1,  2016, NEC piano students celebrated Prokofiev's 125th anniversary with performances of all nine sonatas along with other solo piano works.

Second movement of Bach's second Brandenburg Concerto, featuring a trio of recorder, oboe and violin with continuo. Performed on virtual instruments: recorder and oboe (Wallander instruments), violin and cello (Samplemodeling), and harpsichord (Soniccouture), using a wind controller (Akai EWI USB).
