I find true happiness in creating folky, upbeat music with a dash of West African rhythms and reggae grooves. Those grooves, in turn, enjoy telling the stories of my wanderings from Appalachia to the Rocky Mountains, the long way round, and beyond.

I grew up in Kentucky listening to lullabies voiced by Jerry Garcia, hearing all the tall tales of Grateful Dead shows past from my parents. My mom's favorite story was always that of their last show seeing Jerry in 1995 - they were pregnant with me!

It might feel overwhelming out in the world today - go take a walk in the wild, clear your head with my tunes, and humgrumble right along with me!
