His debut release "Newland Castle" on DP-6 Records is available now on all platforms. 
"Newland Castle" reflects the evolution of the producer's sound, his desire to experiment with new textures and atmospheres. Frederick started working on the release on the train, where he sketched out the ideas on the way home. And later he finalized these tracks over several sessions at home. Now this edition consists of three original works - "Newland Castle", "Run In The Night" and "Emrnt".  In these tracks Frederick dives deeper into the atmospheric sound, moving from hard to a softer and more melodic one.

The original Tiefschwarz Dub Mix of this track has to be one of my all-time favorite Electro House tunes from its era. When it first dropped 20 years ago in 2004, it was absolutely iconic. Even today, whenever I'm at home mixing and I spot that gleaming red vinyl sleeve, no matter what genre I’m playing around with, I feel compelled to find a way to mix it in—just to hear it again!

Recently, I tried incorporating it into one of my sets, but I found it challenging—not because of the quality of the original, but simply due to how much music production has evolved over the last two decades. Let me be clear: this is no critique of Tiefschwarz’s production. Those guys are, and always will be, incredible and talented artists in my eyes (and ears, of course!).

This version is my humble attempt to bring the track into a modern context. I’ve updated the drums and arrangement, recreated the bassline as faithfully as I could, and kept many of the original elements intact—like the unmistakable vocal, the heartbeat lead, and that iconic "Wah Wa Wah" lead. My goal was to maintain the original vibe while enhancing it to fit today’s production standards.

If this version helps shine a light on the original or brings even a fraction of the joy I’ve experienced with this track to a new generation, then that’s a huge success in my eyes. Big love to all the dancefloors out there!

Having both made their mark on One Records with individual releases, Shaun Reeves & Tuccillo are back on board the label this time teaming up to deliver the late night trip ‘Smile’ with a sleazy afterhours remix courtesy of industry connoisseur The Mole. 

Visionquest’s Shaun Reeves was one of the first artists to be involved with One Records when he remixed Subb-an’s ‘Soul Skool’back in 2010 and has since been a close part of the family with a further remix on the label and appearances at various label showcases. Ibiza resident Tuccillo found his way onto One in 2014 through a collaboration with Subb-an when they released the exceptional ‘Day Motion’ . After meeting in Ibiza, Shaun and Tuccillo began inevitable studio jams in Tuccillo’s impressive studio with outcomes that can already be seen on Shaun’s Visionquest imprint via the ‘Seclusion EP’.

Eli Verveine is a DJ, live artist and producer at the height of her powers.

As a DJ, Eli Verveine is widely respected for her ability to build her own dancefloor wherever she is in the world. Always engaged with the crowd, Eli sees communication as integral to the art of DJing: whether it’s warm-up, peak-time or after-hours, she captures the collective energy and applies just the right doses of drama and restraint until every dancer is locked into a unified groove. Eli’s versatile blend of genres and moods has brought her to some of the most iconic stages around, from the clubs Bassiani, Panoramabar, Fabric and Closer to the festivals Garbicz, Rainbow Disco Club, Waking Life, and delivering the prestigious closing set at Organik Festival in Taiwan. She has a B2B project, Among Trees, with Andrey Pushkarev.

As a live performer, Eli Verveine collaborates with Berlin-based DJ/musician Gwenan on the experimental live project Gin & Tonic. With a setup combining modular synthesis, drum machines, effects pedals and more, the duo tease variegated musical textures out of extended improvisations. This open-ended approach, grounded in close listening and a strong mutual understanding between the two, leads to intriguing musical dialogues in which the machines do the talking. Performances have included Garbicz and Waking Life festivals, and specialist listening events including their own dedicated Aether series in Berlin, co-founded with ISH.

As a producer, Eli Verveine’s discography stretches back to the Ness EP (2012) on Tardis Records, the label she runs with Oscar Schubaq. In 2023, she released the track ‘Morning Dub’, on a VA from Chateau Chépère, and ‘Reverie’, a track resulting from a project with school children in Basel. Eli has been having a lot of fun in the studio, so we can expect more solo material on the way.
