About this edit:
The original of this rework kept playing in the car on a compact cassette when Landegaard was a child. Later he got the original vinyl and thought about a remix for more than 20 years. The real challenge on a rework was the original beat recorded without a click. So every single beat had to be adjusted…

After the Acid Desert Disco Mix here comes the ingenious vocal version of „Sandstorm“ as Landegaard´s Raw Vocal Edit. A real catchy tune to have it on repeat!

About @landegaard-1 :
Landegaard is now djing for more than 30 years. First performing club gigs all around the area of Stuttgart, later moved to Hamburg, Berlin and Munich where he played as well. Now he is located in Hungary. In the beginning of his dj era he was a club dj, playing deep house, trip-hop, acid-jazz and nudisco. It was the thrilling time of the early nineties, when electronic music was on the way becoming leading item in the clubscene.
Later Landegaard improved his library with ethnic, tribal, psychedelic sounds combined with electronic elements. This was the time of a new consciousness in the dance theatre. It was about Ecstatic Dance for dancers with higher consciousness. It was about understanding the dance as a ritual. It was about using the dance as a meditation. Mostly mature characters visit Ecstatic Dance Events to get into their very own nature of being and moving. Still this trend is active, maybe bigger than ever before.
When the dancer is ready to give up being in his mind, he gets the chance leaving the state of duality for a short time. He steps into ONENESS by dancing. If that happens, Landegaard uses to say he has done a good job.
