
Inescapable DJ and active representative of the French electronic scene since 1997. Founder in 2002 of Progress Events, it is one of the only French DJ to work in association with labels of Progressive House [Sumsonic, Mechanism, Swift records, Yoshitoshi] for famous Progress Parties.
Ludovic Desmond knew how to be imperative by his artistic qualities, his musical choices, his contact with the public but especially later of numerous residence in postpone Parisian clubs from the age of 17 years.

After the summer, 2006 when he mixes in several private places in Ibiza, he went Latin America with Brazil for a tour of 15 days with DJ Deff Skual.
Booking to the club D-EDGE / Sao Paulo, [4th better club of the World according to Mixmag] for 2 years of the evening Mooving. Then Open Air in front of more than 4000 persons is linked enormous 2 to finish in Galeon Club Beach Cambury.
Of return in France for some months the projects of production finalize in association with Yann Solo [Evasive records, New Era recordings and Hoshi Rec, Beatport] .
In hardly 25 years, Ludovic Desmond confirms his experience in the biggest clubs of the world beside the best DJ / French and international Producers.

Sharing with the audience what I think are the greatest records of the moment or what I think are timeless and personal classics is something that has motivated me through the years. I see my job as being a big filter: As a vinyl junkie, I am in the record stores chasing jams almost everyday. And I am also following movements in what I hear such as when techno was revolutionary or when the NY deep house sound really expanded, that’s what I would showcase. Now that a lot of techno and house roots are being revived and also reinvented, I can as always, enjoy playing a lot of new amazing records and some classics!

Twenty years in, from house to techno and everything in between, DJ Deep has immersed himself in the ebb and flows of music, be it NY, Chicago, Detroit or today’s current pulsating waves. He captures the magic of each as a leading figure of the Parisian scene and label owner, connecting the dots both forward and back with his own personal and multidimensional touch.

DJ Deep first got his break when he was invited by Laurent Garnier to DJ at parties such as Oz and Zoo at club Palace, or Boy, in his hometown Paris. Followed by regular appearances at the influential Rex Club, radio shows ‘A Deep Groove’ on then pirate station Radio FG, and later Radio Nova, plus a string of mix CDs on Distance and Respect is Burning, DJ Deep began touring worldwide, spreading his house and techno obsession to audiences craving his deep crates of musical truth.

In 2003, DJ Deep launched his labels Deeply Rooted (formerly Deeply Rooted House) and House Music Records, shining a spotlight on true-to-its roots house and techno records and harder to find gems from the likes of Kerri Chandler, L.B. Bad, Terence Fixmer, Mike Dehnert and Roman Poncet. The dream catalogue sealed his music curatorship with timeless records such as Kerri Chandler’s now classic “Back to the Raw”, Ben Klock’s remix of “Pong” by Kerri Chandler and Francois X’s “Code Red” remixed by Marcel Dettmann.

A reformat in 2015 and DJ Deep’s latest evolution in expression sees him join forces with Roman Poncet as Sergie Rezza, an open-minded experimentation with a standout album on Desire Records and performances including Berlin Atonal. Their straight-up techno live project, Adventice, saw a trio of releases on the reputable Tresor with performances at Weather Festival (Paris), Reperkusound Festival (Lyon) and many more to come. Fang is the duo’s house-leaning alias, which marked Deeply Rooted’s momentous 50th release in 2015. Unabatedly, DJ Deep’s solo adventure also continues with his own deep “cuts” out on his label or under his Rébeval raw house alias, on the cult NYC L.I.E.S Records.

Sourdoreille est d'abord un média d'humeurs et d'actualités musicales créé en 2006. Certains diront qu'il est pointu, d'autres, carrément mainstream (la honte, quoi). Certains ont autre chose à foutre et savent que Sourdoreille promeut la scène émergente tout en adorant les têtes d'affiche. Si la techno qui casse des murs, le hip-hop du futur, la chanson française avec de vrais textes qui déchirent et la pop culture en général ont tendance à éveiller vos sens comme nous, sachez qu'on en a par kilos. Le soutien à ces musiques passe par de l'actu, des interviews, des concours pour aller en concert et en festival gratos, des études, des quiz tout ce qu'il y a de plus intelligents, des séries thématisées, des podcasts, des soirées irrégulières sur Paris.

Sourdoreille est aussi une société de production vidéo. Il faut juste ajouter Production après Sourdoreille pour connaître son nom. Habile, hein ? L'activité du volet vidéo se passe dans les salles de concert et les festivals de France et de Navarre. Notre collectif a couvert plus de 30 d'entre eux, les gros comme les Vieilles Charrues, le Sziget, Dour, les Eurockéennes mais aussi des plus petits comme Astropolis, Baleapop ou Nouvelle(s) Scène(s), par le biais d'interviews, de blind-tests, de sessions acoustiques, d'extraits de lives et de concerts intégraux. Nas, Iggy Pop, Alt-J, Arctic Monkeys, Vitalic, Laurent Garnier, Metronomy, Devendra Banhart, Massive Attack, Wu-Tang Clan, Interpol, TNGHT ou Paul Kalkbrenner, ils sont tous passés devant nos objectifs. Sourdoreille Production est aussi à l'origine de documentaires et de séries de sessions acoustiques.

Sourdoreille est surtout une zone où l'amour est maître et un collectif rassemblant 22 journalistes et vidéastes.

VIDALOCAS aka Dj V-Style a débuté sa carrière en tant que turntbliste hip hop, il a su s’imposer par sa technique à travers des concours de mixes.

Grace à sont expérience hip hop, à ses qualités en terme de technique de mixe, et d’oreille musicale, V-style progressa très rapidement, et parviens à maitriser le style électro.
Pour enfin, choisir le courant électro, qui lui correspond le mieux : la Minimal house.
Par la suite, Dj Vstyle développa son propre style, alliant technique hip hop et technique électro.
Ce qui lui a permis de mixer dans des prestigieux club de la scène HOUSE.
