This Frontier Needs Heroes is the moniker of singer-songwriter Brad Lauretti, who in various forms and lineup changes, has spent the past 10 years playing shows all over the world. One night with Brad will run the gamut of all human emotions from humour, hedonism, activism and heartbreaking sadness. From Folk-rock anthems, to indie folk, flares of cosmic americana, psychedelic, alt-country, to straight up storytelling sometimes you get it all in one song. From raw blues covers to heart-bound Americana originals; Norwegian singer/songwriting Eli Gauden silences the room and creates an atmosphere you don't want to leave. By combining the honesty and complexity of her own stories with the simplicity of the roots, she expressed the darkest emotions with an angel-like touch, and pulls the listener in.

Welcome to the crux of this matter. Inspired by Eva Cassidy, Joni Mitchell, Alanis Morissette, Alicia Keys, India.Arie, Monica Heldal and more, I enjoy the effort of making it all ones' own: lyrics and chords, playing the piano whilst singing myself. Songs are recorded straight on my very first digital piano (*proudgoose*); Yamaha DGX660. Aspire to be a dusty old road you're happy to find, from my little student studio in Oslo.
Ever since I first heard  Janis Joplin's 'Mercedes Benz', my guilty pleasure music fetish has been to record my songs in one-takes, as a romanticized echo of the old days. If they made do, I should too. This means I'd rather post flawed, full takes than the best chopped-up pieces from different ones for now. There's a beauty in that too. ‘Duncan & Stokes’ is a new acoustic project of multi-instrumentalist/vocalist/songwriter Ethan Stokes and fiddler David Duncan. Although childhood acquaintances, Duncan and Stokes began playing music as a duo in the Fall of 2018. They focus on Stokes’ original songs, punctuated with traditional Celtic medleys and American folk tunes, for a dynamic blend of soulfulness and energy.

I am a singer/songwriter from Westchester, NY. I studied songwriting at Berklee College of Music and earned my Bachelors Degree in Songwriting. I use the piano to write my songs and express myself through my art of storytelling. Performing live is my passion. I love to connect with the audience and share my music.
