Burton’s career started in 2006 with a broken heart, a broken down van and a haphazard tour across Canada in a van named Lucky. Since then Sarah has played 200 + shows a year, released 4 albums and played many festivals in between. Rooted in folk, and skirting rock and country, Sarah’s music is a collage of her adventures, and the people she meets along the way. Her songs have made their way to the big screen, earned college radio charting in the US and Canada, and commercial radio play in Canada and Europe. Her new album, Give Me What I Want comes out this October, and is raw Americana. Burton’s first release since relocating from Toronto, Canada to the tiny desert town of Terlingua, TX - Give Me What I Want tells classic stories in a modern age; from love and lust, to enchantment and disenchantment, and that constant search for fulfillment.

(SPF 1000) Vampire Sunscreen is the creation of Austin, TX-based producer Laurie Gallardo - radio show host, voice actor and film actor  who has taken it upon herself to dive headfirst into darker realms. Really, that's nothing new for Gallardo, a longtime classic horror fan, brooding beast and "murderino" before that even had a name. Thanks to the lovely badasses of My Favorite Murder, Gallardo is able to better explain the fascination of such morbid subject matter.

When there is time (becoming more rare nowadays with her work at public radio station KUTX 98.9), Gallardo invites guests for a conversation about a subject that could very well prove morbid, or frightening, or heartbreaking...or all of the above and more. There is only one question: What is the darkness to you? The answers have been fascinating and enlightening.
