Frames, my first release as Katahimikan, is a 4 tracks EP I composed during my Christmas holidays in 2014, which gave me the opportunity to explore new areas of my passion, and, being far from my studio, have an extreme minimalistic approach. 

Almost every sound you hear has been created sampling 4 of my own past tracks, so each one is the reflection of a track from my past, which leads to something completely different. 

This is the 3rd track: Faith.

The origin of this track was inspired by the 2 note guitar riff behind the snare in the Tears for Fears song - The Working Hour.  [  you woudnt guess that by hearing it ]   
The cover art looks like a map of some islands but is actually made from the patterns of Ocelot markings.  
 Ocelots are a type of cat.

Reflections Of Yesterday

Lazy Saturday morning patching featuring my new MI Clouds module. Here it adds low harmonies to the simple Microzwerg sequence, as well as general blurring and reverb. Second sequence provided by Rings. All sequenced by the SQ-1, additional FX from a Zoom G2.1U. Added some piano in Ableton.
