Idea for this: Brigette is an elf who was ostracized by her family and bullied at school. One night, she comes across a being known as Misery that promises that if she could be his vessel, Brigette would be able to get revenge on those who wronged her. She agreed, and she grew stronger, and eventually became president of her city. However, Misery wasn't done with orders. As Brigette grew older and stronger, Misery grew stronger too; strong enough to kill Brigette from the inside if she didn't do their bidding. This eventually made Brigette grow on edge, paranoid, and even more hot-tempered, to the point where she was highly feared across the city.
