Portugal has for long been a hub for creative talent and Massivedrum is one of Portugal’s finest. His accolades include being a very prolific and awarded music producer with two artists albums, more than sixty singles, over 20 mixed compilations under his name and official remixes for artists such as Bob Sinclar, Liquideep, Mory Kantè, Alexandra Stan, DJ Chus, Kentphonik, Yolanda B Cool, among many others. His long list of collaborations includes Shawnee Taylor, the diva behind “Hero”. 
His musical creativity knows no boundaries and his DJ sets where he’s able to showcase his talent for rocking each and every one of them, touching almost all genres of house music, with one goal in mind, to provide the dancefloor with the finest and best music selection and mix for an unforgettable experience. And he delivers; Massivedrum was a resident DJ in many famous clubs in Portugal before he set out to discover the world as a freelance artist, now a days he plays clubs as well as big festivals to great results.

Since the 90s, when I was just a kid, music has always been part of my life. I grew up listening to what played on the radio, on tapes, and at friends' parties. That’s where my passion started for beats that move the body and take the mind on a trip.

Today, that feeling lives on in the form of sets, mashups, and blends I put my soul into. I’m driven by nostalgia, tight grooves, and unexpected musical combinations that somehow just make sense when they hit loud. In my sound, you’ll hear echoes of the past and the pulse of the present, always with a raw and honest vibe.

My foundation is the mashup the art of connecting one idea to another, remixing memories and rhythms. I mix pop with electronic, tribal with groove. If it hits the vibe, it's in. The most important thing is to stay true to the sound.

This channel is where I drop my sonic experiments. Everything you hear here is crafted with care, attention to detail, and heart on the dancefloor.

Desde os anos 90, quando criança, a música já era parte da minha vida. Cresci ouvindo o que tocava no rádio, nas fitas, nas festas de amigos, e foi ali que começou a paixão por batidas que fazem o corpo mexer e a mente viajar. 

Hoje, esse sentimento se transforma em sets, mashups e misturas que carrego com alma. Sou movido por nostalgia, por batidas bem costuradas e por cruzamentos musicais improváveis que fazem sentido quando tocam alto. No meu som, você vai ouvir ecos do passado e pulsações do presente, sempre com uma pegada autêntica.

Minha base é o mashup, a arte de colar uma ideia na outra, de remixar memórias e ritmos. Misturo  pop com eletrônico, tribal com groove. Se a vibe bate, tá dentro. O importante é ser verdadeiro com o som. 

Este canal é onde solto minhas experiências sonoras. Tudo que você ouvir aqui foi feito com cuidado, olho no detalhe e coração na pista.

VMC iniciou sua carreira em meados de 2000 no projeto ALTAR (VMC + Macau), que é responsável por grandes sucessos que influenciaram toda uma geração como: "Sound Of Your Voice” (Top20 Billboard), “Away From Me”, “Hold Me Now” e “Can U Hear Me” feat Amannda.
A parceria com a cantora  “Jeanie Tracy” rendeu ao Altar o 1º lugar na revista “Billboard” com “Party People” (sendo os primeiros artistas brasileiros a conquistar tal feito na categoria Dance Music). Depois do grande êxito na Billboard, ALTAR licenciou “Party People” para o filme Bring It On: Fight to the Finish (As Apimentadas: Ainda Mais Apimentadas), da Universal Studios. Em sequência, outros sucessos como “Everybody Up”, “Turn It Out”, “We Will Be Free Tonight”, “Viva”, “Andale” e a aclamada "I Live 2 Dance" estouraram no mundo inteiro.
“Sexercise”(2004), interpretado por Katrina K. continua sendo um dos maiores hinos da dupla.
Em carreira solo, o DJ/Produtor VMC lançou vários  singles como: “VAI”, "Suave", "People Talk feat Joe Welch", ``Walls of Science"entre outros. Com os vocais marcantes da DJ Cacá Werneck, VMC produziu: "Instinto”, "Agua Y Amor" e o hit "Que Vibe É Essa".
Em 2018, os seus remixes para "Loren Allred - Never Enough" e "Las Bibas From Vizcaya - Divadrag" estão entre as músicas mais tocadas daquele ano.
VMC foi residente do extinto Club "The Week" e hoje faz parte do seleto grupo de DJs do selo "The New World", criado pelo icônico produtor "André Almada".
Depois de uma longa pausa imposta pela pandemia, VMC traz novos trabalhos em 2021 como "Closer feat Gal Albargil", "The Vibe feat DJ Dimitri" e "2 The Beat".
