Darryl J Known as Darryl Jordan, Grew up in Detroit, Michigan singing at local Churches around the State. By the age of 18, he started giving singing lessons in the basement Time of the Old Mother's home. He then Went on to perform at talent shows, perfecting His vocals and winning various awards for best talent in Shows around the State. He then went on to audition for local plays. In 1999, Darryl J put a stop to His singing career to Pursue Management. He managed two different groups and one female vocalist. In 2004, he sold to other groups His management to go back into singing himself. 2005-2007 He Performed at different Jazz Clubs: such as Bakers, a Detroit Jazz Club, just South of the borderline of Detroit Where he drew so many fans That there was barely enough room in the small club for the em. SF Bay Area’s TRKRNR (Track Runner) team up with Trailer Limon (one half of SF's The Pendletons) to create two insta-classics for the dance floor and the bedrooms.

The A side "No Summer Days", a smooth, vibey Sade-esque track, while the flip side "Stimulate", is a playful sex-funk exploration that will elevate dance floors and get pulses racing.This record definitely showcases TRKRNR and Limon’s love for creating classic sounding songs that would be at home played back to back with Rick James or Blondie.

TRKRNR (Track Runner) based in Richmond, California, is comprised of childhood friends Saul Vallens (Allen Valenzuela) & multi-instrumentalist and singer Gyrefunk (Vincent Czekus). The two musicians and dancers, who grew up together in San Jose, Ca., draw on deep backgrounds of house, hip hop, rock and pop to create a future facing, genre-busting sound that is both soulful and highly danceable. Employing everything from kalimbas, djembes, synthesizers, guitars, bass and basically anything they can get their hands on, the two continue to turn out friendly, crowd pleasing music that is modern yet classic. They are at home making four on the floor bangers as they are making psychadelic beat pop, dreamy lounge and tightly produced hip hop.

This forthcoming double A-side single from Kumail, is any many ways an extension of the philosophy behind his 2019 album Yasmin. They draw from the same influences - George Benson, Marvin Gaye, GrandMaster Flash, a whole world of Japanese funk - albeit now in a completely different way. They come from a happier place, picking up from where the album closer dance tune “Ease Up” left off. The funk is evident here; especially on the track "Without You". What blinked to life in moments on Yasmin, now come right to the fore.
