This is a set for late afternoon/early evening on the Saturday of a small weekend festival. It is designed to have a consistent build with some unhinged power, to draw out all the WEIRD that has built up during the festival so far, and allow people to transmute it.

A few people asked us for our Burning Man 2024 set recording, so here it is.

The first track in this set is dedicated to PlayAlchemist one of our favorite places that we missed so much this year. At 12:30, there’s a track dedicated to Robot Heart, which we produced after being part of building the Robot Heart Residency. And at 41:25, there’s a track inspired by Titanic's End. 😽 

The team at Titanic's End did an outstanding job with the sound, LEDs, and overall operations. Special thanks to Justin Kan (Orso), who left earlier, so we took his slot 😼 Thanks to everyone who attended our sunrise performance on the last day of the Burn! When we started, there weren’t too many people on the dance floor, but 20 minutes later, it filled up as a bunch of people came over from other places. We also performed on Monday night, the first day of the Burn, at TE. We’ve been camping with TE, and I can say for sure (IMHO) that this is one of the most creative and hardworking communities -they brought 2 art cars (Titanic's End and Mothership) this year!

At the tail end of a spiritually awakening morning and sleepless night, I threw down this set completely off the cuff, just letting my mood and the energy of the environment dictate what happens next.. my favorite way to play. Listening to this takes me back to the height of the sun in the Black Rock Desert and reminds me of the magic present in each moment out there, however small.

A space travel theme was appropriate, as Cuddle Oasis was located at 7:30 and Esplanade this year right near the giant Earth, Moon, and Mars. Drawing from her knowledge of nervous system regulation, power dynamics, ritual, sex, and the tantric art of DJing, she crafts sets that are infused with lyrical feminine energy, electrifying melodies, and dirty basslines. With roots in house and flavors of techno, drum & bass, and soul, Eliza's music urges you to let the beat enter your bones and luxuriate in the juicy chaos of living. 

Eliza produces events around the SF Bay Area, including leading the SF chapter of Support Women DJs. She draws inspiration and support from the badass communities of DJs at Powerhouse DJ School and The Score Collective.
