To celebrate the release of my sister's first solo harp + piano album, I put together this remix of one of my favourite tracks. It invokes feelings of standing along the shoreline in the shade on a sunny day, watching the endless waves break on the beach. One challenge working on this piece was I couldn't lean on quantization as I had to follow along with the real human playing the harp.

Selkie Call of the Sea (Swell Mix)

Escape Trajectory began as a piece about wanting some space but ultimately became a track about... space. Space and hoping to elevate ourselves out of our mundane Groundhog Day routines, filled with hope and a touch of longing. It starts with a beckoning call from orbit, builds until escaping to zero-gravity where we reach our goal and go out on a high note. It is a follow-up release to Temporal Flow, a track about our perception of the passage of time.

This contains recordings of Sputnik's beeping from orbit, radio chatter between NASA Ground Control and Shuttle Discovery plus another little recording you may recognize from the first lunar landing.
