"Public Display of Affection" is a slow unraveling of love’s theater, where every glance, every kiss, is staged for an audience that doesn’t see the cracks. Beneath the city’s neon haze and under the judgment of a hundred passing eyes, the song exposes how connection can be both intimate and performative—an art form of holding together what’s already falling apart. Through brooding baritone delivery, shimmering guitars, and shadows of synth, it becomes a cinematic confession of the quiet lies we tell in public to protect what’s already broken in private.
