La Chimba Discos, es un NetLabel de libre descarga enfocado en la mixtura electroafrolatina.

Conformado por Carla Valenti, Boris Castro, Inti Kunza y Koby Encendio (percusiones). Nos enfocamos en todos los ritmos provenientes de nuestra raíz afrolatina, los cuales pueden ir desde el Dembow hasta experimentos con elementos musicales mapuches.

"La idea es rescatar el concepto de carnaval tan propio a nuestra identidad latinoamericana. El nombre “La Chimba” hace referencia al tema del mestizaje y la cultura popular."

Como sello buscamos integrar a artistas de las distintas latitudes, el concepto se enfoca en un desmantelamiento del NeoColonialismo cultural en el que estamos sumidos por un bombardeo constante de la industria cultural Norteamericana y Europea.

La idea central es mostrar a través de la música electrónica, el hermoso acervo folclórico de nuestro continente y difundir la nueva camada de productores latinoamericanos.

Authentic Korean traditional vocals with rock band music, combined with an extravagant visual style and stage manners.

Six musicians from diverse genres join creative forces in the eccentric band SsingSsing.  The group welds two totally disparate elements: rock band music and the typical authentic, somewhat oscillating vocals from Korean folk songs, while also including elements from ballads, pop music and shamanist rituals.  Featuring Hee-moon Lee (lead vocal), Young-gyu Jang (Music Director/bass guitar), Da-hye Choo (vocal), Seung-tae Shin (vocal), Chul-hee Lee (drum), Tae-won Lee (electric guitar/keyboard), SsingSsing creates a unique vibe while introducing elements of Korean traditional music, such as Gyeonggi Sori (folk songs from central province around Seoul), Seodo Sori (folk songs from northwestern provinces in North Korea), and Seoul Gut (shamanistic ritual from Seoul) in their works.
