Singer-songwriter Marissa Kay plays a variety of different styles but is primarily influenced by Americana and 70's classic rock. Her style has been called "a punk version of Neil Young", and been compared to Stevie Nicks and the Mountain Goats. An outspoken LGBT activist, she performed at the St. Petersburg Pride Festival in 2015. Born in Boston, Massachusetts, she has lived and performed around the United States, and now resides in San Francisco, California.
