Jeremy Mayes, mixing extraordinaire, is currently working on his twelfth independent album featuring regional artists, including himself. This album features compositions and themes from the popular anime show, Samurai Champloo. The album release date is to be announced. Preceding albums include: The Poor Composer, San Rafael, and Vault Registration. Each album Mayes mixes, features a unique and quality sound everyone enjoys.
 
In a constant state of self-improvement towards mixing abilities, Mayes consistently researches and practices new techniques of mixing music. Mayes utilizes these new techniques in his own independent projects as well as on projects from regional artists.

Mayes is also half of Nerdcore rap duo, Soup or Villainz. The duo recently performed at comi-con in Denver, Colorado, at Chicago’s Institute of Technology, and downtown Seattle, Washington.

In his future, Mayes plans on continuing to create independent projects featuring a variety of themes, compositions, and vocal manipulation. Professionally, Mayes plans to move to an area with more opportunities in the music industry, develop a professional career in mixing, and continue to grow as a master of science.
