Re-Release of the high acclaimed album “Virtual Outback” (originally released 2000 as part of the strictly limited and long exhausted 5-CD-boxset “Contemporary Works II”).

„Virtual Outback“ was just one single track: the elegiac 65 minute „The Theme: The Rhodes Elegy“, one of the most favorite of many Schulze fans.

The bonus track is from a filling work for the Chinese mass rally „China Millennium“ on the occasion of the turn of millennium  200/2001. After Klaus‘ delivery the Chinese government said: “NO – WAY”! First Klaus used the old Mao song, divided by cutting and transposing, and second he used an ethnic sample from Mongolia. That wasn’t possible too, due to the fact that Mongolians are a minority in China. The Chinese government stated: either you respect all minorities or no one.

After having made one studio-album, and two Live-DVDs and albums with Lisa Gerrard, Klaus Schulze thought it was time to give the world back the “pure” Klaus Schulze again.

Having been invited by his big Japanese Fan, Mr. Gen Fujita, he and his crew flew to Tokyo to play his very first solo concerts since November 2003. The concerts in Tokyo in March 2010 were remarkable for many reasons. First of all, the Japanese crew rebuilt Klaus‘ legendary and extraordinary equipment exactly the same way as you can see it at his European concerts.  Considering the fact that this equipment includes a lot of rare instruments and devices, the Japanese crew did a great job. Secondly, the concert itself contained some surprises: It was the first time that Klaus Schulze rebuilt and remodeled his classic “Crystal Lake” (original released 1977 on the album “Mirage”), renamed here as: “The Crystal Returns”. Also astonishing was the fact that Klaus played electric guitar on the track, “Sequencers Are Beautiful” - of course in his own, totally unconventional way.

In all, these were breathtaking concerts that combined Klaus’ tradition and vision: You will love the sequencer-sounds as well as the new components. And of course, the DVD gives you the perfect vision of these intense and atmospheric performances.

“Big In Japan” had already been released in Japan as a box-set, limited to 500 copies.

This European version is slightly different: The track “Sequencers Are Beautiful” (in the Japan-Edition only available on DVD) can be found here as the second track on the first CD. Along with a new stylish package, these historic moments are now available for every Klaus Schulze fan!

This composition is alleged to be performed live in Perth, that is on February 26th, 1982. Though there is no known fan tape from this concert, it is quite unlikely that the music was performed like that: There are fan tapes from two of the three other concerts of that tour, and those are virtually identical to each other, but totally different from the track Dream Yards (The Perth Tapes). Thus it is assumed that this track was compiled in 2000 by Edgar Froese, using slightly remixed studio material from his solo albums Pinnacles, Kamikaze 1989, and TD's studio album White Eagle (1982).

Tangerine Dream are one of the founding artists of Synthwave and so as a homage to them i have created a remix of their track 'Canyon Voices'. My version is completely different to the original and what i have tried to do is give it a beefed up heavier/darker vibe complete with a few retrospective 80s synthesizers.

Eight new compositions by Kelly Thoma rising from the depths of the ocean of music.
Influenced by various modal traditions, Kelly and eleven exceptional musicians interpret her compositions as well as improvise with virtuosity and sensitivity. 
Each composition is named after a specific fish and the last piece called "S", which reveals the movement of the fish, seeks to take the listener to the most profound recesses of his personal ocean.

Desert Trax is thrilled to bring fans a star-studded remix pack for ”Saraswati's Twerkaba,” the smash lead track from Desert Dwellers' Clear Path compilation, which was originally released in 2016 by Sofa Beats. The exotically innovative original from Amani Friend and Treavor Moontribe sees the Desert Dwellers blending their signature downtemple dub sounds with global club flavors. It was inspiration enough to draw in a wide range of remixers amped to take on the task.

French guitarist and glitch sensation CloZee joined forces with LuSiD for an earthy, percussive take. Southern California bass legend David Starfire leaned more into the clubby side of the yoga twerk track. Mindex and Landswitcher both went dark and dangerous on their respective remixes, pulling heavily from the subsonic sampling and fearlessly pushing the track into the cavernous abyss. Patiently building from mild murmur to full on twisted roar, Nanosphere stretches Saraswati into a psy opus. Israeli sensation TRIBONE stripped the cut down all the way to its primal, midtempo stomp, and there is no doubt his take will turn dance floors loose with its relentless pulse.

The “Saraswati's Twerkaba” remix pack features 8 tracks with 40+ minutes of music and is available July 17th on all major sites worldwide.

The score features a hybrid of the traditional M83 electronic sound combined with sweeping orchestral elements. It has 16 score cues, along with a brand new song by M83 featuring Norwegian singer-songwriter Susanne Sundfør used as the end title for the film.

ASH RA TEMPEL, the veterans of the German "Berlin School", gained worldwide recognition with their album releases 1971-1973.

Their self-titled debut-album from1971, in the line-up Hartmut Enke (bass), Manuel Göttsching (guitar), Klaus Schulze (drums), radically deconstructed elements of Rock and Blues, as it was combining electronic sounds to encourage new listening habits.

Whilst Göttsching and Schulze later followed their solo careers, they always stayed friends and, over the decades, showed their musical solidarity in collaborations, with innovative electronics and guitar.

But it was only in 2000, when they decided for this short intermezzo to perform together again under the Ash Ra Tempel banner.

Julian Cope (author of "Krautrock-Sampler") had invited Göttsching to his "Cornucopia Festival" in London, and the two musicians took the offer as a great opportunity for a 
one-time reunion concert at the Royal Festival Hall on April 2, 2000.

Preparing the music for this the concert had also led to a new studio album recording entitled "Friendship".

Both of the recordings, the studio album as well as the live recording from the London concert "Gin Rosé”, had been originally released in 2000 in a small edition, which was sold out very soon.

The studio-album "Friendship" had already been re-released in 2014 (CD).

Now, and due to the many requests, here it is again - after 20 years, the re-release of the long-awaited live-album "Gin Rosé".

Göttsching and Schulze blend tradition and vision, and they do not simply reanimate ideas of the 1970ies.

The spirit of this unique liaison is reflected in every single note of this still up-to-date concert, showing these two musicians playing joyful, familiar and undeterred.

HVOB have only just released their impressive debut album, but the next EP is already on the way: "Always Like This" is almost a tribute to the Vienna-based electronic duo's current wave of success.
Number 1 in the iTunes Dance Charts in Austria and number 3 in Germany, number 3 in the Beatport Deep House Charts – and HVOB's eponymous debut album continues to win the band critical acclaim in a success story which began when the first snippets appeared on Soundcloud a year ago. HVOB's Berlin-based label Stil vor Talent, which is no stranger to success, has been delighted by one of its best selling albums to date.
HVOB's third EP is scheduled for release on April 26 – and the track selection seems to be more than mere coincidence. "Always Like This" is an accurate reflection of the young Vienna electro duo's life right now. Anna Müller and Paul Wallner are "super happy" with the way things are going, busy as they are with all the live appearances in cities like Berlin, Paris and Istanbul, long nights spent in the studio and the formation of new partnerships: alongside Four Artists, Primary Talent, one of the world's major booking agencies, will in future be looking after the interests of HVOB.
"Always Like This" is the third single from the album "HVOB". HVOB's cover of the track by British indie rock band Bombay Bicycle Club mixes warm synth pads with soft beats, while Anna Müller's distinctive voice puts an entirely new spin on the melancholy of the original. Oliver Koletzki and Andhim have both made remixes of HVOB's interpretation of "Always Like This": Oliver Koletzki's version is powerful, emotive and melodic, while Andhim's shows incredible attention to detail and is intensely deep and original.
HVOB, which stands for "Her Voice Over Boys", are Anna Müller and Paul Wallner, who formed the duo in spring 2012. Müller (composition, production, vocals) and Wallner (composition and final production) produce intelligent, sophisticated electronic music, which is both easy to listen or dance to. The Vienna duo, who favour live on-stage performances with the backing of a drummer, will be appearing at the Donaufestival in Krems, Lower Austria, the Lighthouse Festival on the Lanterna peninsula (Porec, Croatia), the Pratersauna in Vienna, the Übel & Gefährlich in Hamburg and the Ninkasi in Lyon.
