Techno Titans, Slam + Amelie Lens, collab on Vol. 4 of Louder Than Chaos

The penultimate Louder Than Chaos has Soma's techno titans Slam join force with Belgiums finest export, Amelie Lens. A collaboration a long time in the making, the Glasgow duo of Stuart McMillan & Orde Meikle bring their trademark crafts, melding it perfectly with Amelies driving synth lines. The output is three outstanding dancefloor killers combining both artists unique and powerful styles. 

The dark and driving Uncontrolled opens Vol. 4 perfectly as steamrolling bass and punchy, rhythmic percussion lead to an ominous and twisting synth hook that propels this track skyward. Keeping the momentum going, Clarity instantly has an old school groove at its heart that gradually builds into a searing acid hook that cleverly disguises dynamic melodic elements. 

Closing out the EP is Construct that shows no mercy coming out the block with a supercharged low end and electrified synths, dropping down into an expertly crafted, dynamic breaks & bass heavy breakdown before slamming back in with huge energy.

Midnight Cults, the eagerly awaited sequel to last years Cyanure Dance features two epic new tracks from I Hate Models with vocal contributions from Zanias and a sleek wave remix from DJ Varsovie.

On the solar side the odyssey begins. It Will Last Forever discharges a barrage of devastating, tensile beats over a swell of ethereal synths recalling the sirens - muses of the underworld, luring sailors to their deaths in a flurry of aggravated arpeggios.

On the lunar side Walpurgis Night opens with a pristine, glacial sonic field, punctuated by the ricochet of beaten metal and drenched in the supernal, disembodied voice of Zanias, echoing across vast fissures, pummelling through deep ravines and back out into space.

DJ Varsovie completes the journey with his sensual take on Walpurgis Night, tempering the original with an insistent pitch black funk and somnambulant new wave vocals.
