Rejecting polished mainstream aesthetics, M.R.K.R. writes for purpose: tracks that function—for DJs and for systems. Physical drive, hypnotic tension. Acid here isn’t retro; it’s a living language.

Through self-releases and work with independent labels like TARON (BE), he carves his own space between classic hardware ethos and contemporary precision. The vision is clear: keep techno raw, focused, and functional.

	Konservativer Vinyljunkie, der seine Seele dem Finden des schwarzen Gold verschrieben hat? Ok, die ganze Vita soll es nicht werden und nur die Suche allein beschreibt nach über 15 Jahren DJ- Aktivität sein Schaffen nicht umfassend. Andrew Elliot´s Sound zu definieren, scheitert immer dann, wenn Umklammerung und Schublade als Kreativarretierung- oder Reservat vorhalten müssen. Andrew ist Techno - mehr bedarf es an Beschreibung nicht. Dass dies für einen enormen Facettenreichtum steht erklärt sich aus der Sache, denn zweistündige Peek-, Pump-, Powersets kann er problemlos spielen, jedoch hat er es anders gelernt. All Night long ist hier keine sinistre Testosteronfalle die allzu schnell ausgesprochen wird, um die holde Weiblichkeit in Bewegung zu versetzen. Daher ist Elliots Devise noch immer nach all den Jahren: Gut ist es erst dann, wenn alles von selbst mit dem Arsch wackelt! Kann man es schöner auf den Punkt bringen? Das die Arschwacklernummer gut funktioniert, hat er zu oft bewiesen, sei es bei seinen Residenzdarbietungen im Chemnitzer Lait Solaire [das er mit gründete], dem Achtermai, oder Brixen - genau wie bei seinen Gastspielen z.B. im Tresor, Distillery, Cosmic Club, Strasse E, Sektor Evolution, blabla - er kann es einfach!

Aktuell betreibt er zusammen mit Sven Ray aka das Sonnenkind die monatlich verordnete "Elektronische Tanztherapie" im Club Sanitätsstelle in Chemnitz.
