Born in Germany and raised in Thornton, Colorado. HafDef's passion for music originally started in heavy metal. He grew up learning how to play guitar, bass, and drums. In early 2000's, HafDef moved to the Vail Valley and his musical direction changed. He later received a cracked copy of FL Studio 10 and his interest in electronic music was ignited. Opening for acts such as Terravita, Fyer, FacePuddle, 40oz Profits, and playing locations from Grand Junction to Ft. Collins, his experiences are continually growing. Something of an enigma is what HafDef Brings to every stage and dancefloor he comes across. Every set is raw, and thrown together on the spot with a keen sense of the crowd. With lots of energy and heavy bass beats ranging from Dubstep to House, Techno and even gracing a little Drum'n Bass. HafDef is sure to have the crowd moving to the beat. HafDef's current weapons of choice are Native Instruments programs, Traktor S8, Korg Electribe, and Maschine programs
