Sam Round is an electronic dance music artist based in Worcestershire, UK. Over recent years, Sam has written, produced and performed under the name of 'SJR', aimed primarily as a driving Tech-Trance act, writing and performing with music that slams the speaker cones and shakes the foundations. Sam has achieved relative success with his few releases under SJR. SJR's music has been globally released and supported by some of the worlds finest DJ's… 

Now, after taking time out from the music scene to focus on his studies at university, Sam is preparing to launch a new project under the name 'Meela'. Meela's music will be catered to a wider sound of dance music, an act intended not to be limited by the boundaries, allowing himself room to experiment, though, to a certain extent, Meela will mostly be centred around a more chilled, uplifting, melodic and emotionally fuelled sound. 

More importantly, Sam will be combining the two individual styles of his dance music acts and will also release music under the joint act, 'SJR & Meela'. This will allow Sam the freedom to truly express himself across the spectrum of electronic dance music, taking elements from his harder SJR sound and mashing it up with mellow, experimental and melodic Meela vibes.

Sam is currently preparing his new tracks for release and cannot wait to share his latest creations with the world. Be sure to keep your eyes and ears peeled for music by: 'Meela', 'SJR' and 'SJR & Meela'!!
