That’s how Hektor describes himself as a DJ.  Never afraid to go too deep, his emotive musical selections are his own therapy.  Having grown up on his father’s mental combination of psychedelic rock (hawkwind), European electronica (Kraftwerk, Tangerine Dream), synth-infused 80s music (Depeche Mode, Gary Numan)… all which became infused with his own love for both music and futuristic stuff, Hektor ended up with quite a mixed spectrum of musical influence.  Today, this translates into sets where he picks apart and infuses together all the pieces of this music that he loves best: beautiful synth work, deep basslines, and occasional vocal hooks… all on top of a pronounced 4/4 techno beats .
The last 20 years, Hektor has spent in London as a regular fixture of rave/club scene, as . Through the years he has shared the stage with some influential dj’s such as Mike Humphries, Sterling Moss, Tom Laws and Geezer to name a few..”

dance music like House, Drum and Bass, 
Garage, admiring the top djs in the london 
underground & pirate radio scene and 
developing his own unique sound and 
mixing style.

like House of Silk, Audio Whore and 
Ministry of Sound and regularly 
get played on Radio 1, Kiss FM,
Rinse FM, Flex FM. 
DJ DAZ is rapidly becoming a house hold 
name in the London underground House 
Music scene having played along side 
some of the biggest djs on the house 
circuit and Played at major events like
