His style seamlessly connects the narrative structure of a song with the compelling forward thrust of electronic rhythms. Igor Schober aka 12INCHKID or 12″KID has his musical roots in making analog hardcore music and was early organizing concerts in Jena|Thuringia. Besides he was hearing diverse styles of electronic music. In the early 90s 12″KID listened hardcore hip hop from the UK. Five years later he discovered IDM and enjoyed releases from Warp and Hymen Rec. Artists like Surgeon, Aphex Twin and Autechre influenced the development of his musical taste.

Around 2000 his DJing ambitions started to get serious and got stuck on deep, atmospheric, tech & funky Drum’n'Bass. Since mid of the year 2003 he the crew organizes every month the e.BASSlovaz sessions at the “Rosenkeller” club in Jena, where he supplys the crowd with Drum’n'Bass and Dubstep / IDM sets.

12INCHKID’s style ranges from melodic deep over rollin rocking till spaced out tunes. The DJ-sets are sophisticated, but he knows to send the right impulses to the dancers on the floor. Since 2004 the duo 12INCHKID and MÍŠA perform their special interpretation of electronic music and female vocalism.

Igor Schober und Michaela Holubova aka 12“KID & MÍŠA ergeben eine musikalische Symbiose puristischer Art. Der Thüringer 12“KID und die aus der Tschechischen Republik stammende MÍŠA arbeiten seit mittlerweile über einem Jahrzehnt zusammen an musikalischen Projekten der unkonventionellen Art. Über anfänglich handgemachte Hardcore Konzerte in Jena|Thüringen kam 12“KID Anfang der 90er Jahre über UK Hardcore HipHop zum elektronischen Genre. Er entdeckte IDM und hielt sich über Warp und Hymen Rec. inspiriert. Sein Style ist beeinflusst von Künstlern wie: Aphex Twin, Surgeon und Autechre und fühlt sich im Drum&Bass / Dubstep u.ä. zuhause. Bei Live-Performances überkommt einen das Gefühl im Drum&Bass der frühen 2000er Jahre gelandet zu sein, bei dem Junglists in den Bann des vielseitigen Charmes, der anfänglich Englischen Musikkultur geraten. 
MÍŠA, die mit ihrer Ethno-Pop Band Annuluk 2014 den „VUT Indie Award“ in der Kategorie „Bester Newcomer“ gewonnen hat, schmiegt sich mit ihrer Stimme & Ausstrahlung regelrecht an die musikalische Darbietung an und lässt Lyrik und Musik verschmelzen. Bei Live Auftritten interpretiert sie die musikalische Stimmung vokalistisch, wobei die Harmonie durch die Performance hör-, fühl- und sichtbar wird. Ihr Stimmencharakter, die Performance, die Präsenz und ihre Ausstrahlung machen sie zu einer der beachtlichsten Stimmen-Künstlerin Deutschlands weit. Von fliegender Lyrik zu Drum&Bass über spirituell inspirierten Gesang hat sie Stilmitteln zu bieten, die authentischer nicht sein könnten.

12“KID & MÍŠA initiierten verschiedenste Projekte über die Jahre seit 2003. Namenhaft ist die e.BASSlovaz session, die 2014 ihr elf jähriges Bestehen in dem Jenaer Rosenkeller zelebriert hat.. Die Zusammenarbeit steht für 11 Jahre drum&Bass & Dubstep in Jena- über ein Jahrzehnt Bassmusik in Thüringen. Einzigartig ist ebenfalls die Soulflight Veranstaltung im Jenaer Zeiss-Planetarium, wo von den beiden in dem ältesten, noch in Betrieb stehendem Planetarium Deutschlands eine unvergleichliche Darbietung audio-visueller Kunst geleistet wurde. Das einstündige Drum&Bass, Ambient und IDM Set der ruhigeren Gangart wurde von MÍŠA sehr angemessen der Selection gehostet und mit spezieller Lichttechnik in der 360° Kuppel des Zeiss-Planetariums audio-visuell untermalt. Ein Spektakel für die Sinne.

Often it's those who enter the scene from a different background who take the evolution of music to the next level. Instead of suffering from tunnel vision they are full of open-minded curiosity. Seth Schwarz is one of them. His powerful productions meet the expectations of the dance floor, but at the same time they break the circle of imitation and repetition. Seth dedicated a great part of his youth to classical music. By merging the concepts of electronic music and classic composition he creates mighty bangers of truly symphonic dimensions.
