Denver’s EMATA and Chicago’s Jeff Ozmits have been staples on our Elliptical Sun live event line-ups this year, providing smooth and engaging blends of progressive house and trance for the dance floor. In their new collaborative ‘Nothing But Love/Wrong For Me EP’, they’ve done just that once again.
‘Nothing But Love’ comes off our compilation from earlier this year, focusing more on the peak time vibes that you’ve come to expect from ESR. An infectious melody plays against rhythmic chords in this dreamy slice of progressive trance.
Meanwhile, ‘Wrong For Me’ is centered more in the progressive house side of EMATA and Jeff’s styles, complete with chord stabs, warm bass grooves and a catchy vocal chop. ‘Wrong For Me’ adds the perfect flip side to the EP, rounding out what is only the first set of many collaborations from these two.

Another record that has evolved throughout its life time, ‘Is It Love?’ first aired during ABGT200 in Amsterdam’s Ziggo Dome as the instrumental ‘1001'. With Jono himself providing a 80’s indie-electronica vocal for the track's appearance on ‘Common Ground’, the ‘Is It Love?’ club mix has become a euphoric moment in the trio's sets since 2017. 

Completing the package is the return of an iconic Richard Bedford vocal, played first at Group Therapy 250 and then featuring on this year's Anjunabeats Volume 14 compilation, the Gorge Update of Above & Beyond ‘Alone Tonight’.
