Today I wanted to share with you my new interpretation of one of the most beautiful pieces in the history of music - Adagio in G Minor.
After the warm reception of my Adagio for Strings, I felt the need to return to the classics and give them my own emotions, my own breath.
This piece has always held a special meaning for me — it’s music that has inspired me for years, taught me sensitivity, and shaped who I am as an artist.
This is my personal, deeply emotional version — dedicated to all those who struggle with loneliness and depression.

The excellent UK based producer Andy Forbes makes his way back to our Progressive House Worldwide label and the PHW Elements division with a stunning 2 track EP. 

The release is a tribute to his dad that recently passed away and of course we would be more than honoured to bring his music out to the world about his process dealing with this during a tough time. This is his own words about the release:

“I started writing 1957 while my father was ill, which helped me remember all the amazing memories and how much of a happy spirit he was. Hopefully this reflects in the track with its happy melodies and uplifting breakdown.
Nirvana was created when my father had passed and it really helped me through the grieving process. The sounds are more down tempo as I wanted a more relaxing and peaceful sound, which helped me believe he has gone to a better place with no pain. The meaning of Nirvava is a transcendent state in which there is neither suffering, desire, nor sense of self, and the subject is released from the effects of karma and the cycle of death and rebirth.”

We also see both Mauro Masi and Reiklavik taking part in the release, rebuilding 1957 and contributing to the release and giving their vision on Andy Forbes original ideas. We absolutely love their remakes that just oozes class all over, don’t miss out!

Elliptical Sun Sessions #062 with Robert B

On Saturday, November 28th, 2020, I was honored to be invited to spin a guest set for the 3rd iteration of the "SIGNAL" live DJ broadcast, this time featuring streams from heavyweight headliners including the likes of Christopher Lawrence, Monoverse, Tempo Guisto, 10 total DJ's for this epic streaming event. It was a total blast to share the airwaves with Seattle local favorites, MarQ, Oxymoron, and Madlon, and we had such an awesome crowd of friends and Trance fans tuned in for the online show, even all the way from Europe, so it was a great mood-lifter from the doldrums of daily life in this pandemic, and a way for people to get together and lift everyone's spirits with the lovely healing power of Trance. I was super excited to be back behind the decks for this live stream and tried to bring some vibey, euphoric, and uplifting Progressive House and Trance, this coming two days after Thanksgiving, which was also my B-Day!! :P Special thanks to my buddy Donald Li for allowing me to play his incredible new bootleg mashup of Andain, “Beautiful Things”, and also was excited to spin a few other tracks by some of our amazingly talented NW artists making a global name for themselves in the Trance scene like EMERGE and HAUSMAN.
