Milan Steenwinkel follows with ‘Hold Me’, delivering a deep, introspective journey through layered textures, rhythmic tension and longing vocals. Closing the release, JNSN returns with ‘Time’, blending emotive chords and energetic percussion into a richly uplifting track. The ‘Fragments XXXI’ artwork is a photograph taken by Kelsey Williamson, featuring mobula rays during their migration in the Sea of Cortez off the coast of Baja. Kelsey is an adventurer and photographer passionate about exploring the world’s most remote and stunning regions. Her work captures untamed landscapes and underwater wonders, inspiring a deeper connection to the wild and a curiosity for the unknown.

Often called “the world’s aquarium,” the Sea of Cortez is one of the few places on Earth where thousands of mobula rays gather in spectacular mass aggregations. By working closely with local fishers and coastal communities, CEDO (@cedointercultural) promotes sustainable practices that safeguard species like mobulas and the health of the entire Gulf of California.

Brooke is an award-winning marine life photographer from Australia, based on Ningaloo Reef in WA. With a background in diving, she now focuses on ocean, travel, and adventure photography, capturing the beauty of the underwater world since 2014.

Each year, humpback whales migrate thousands of kilometres to the warm, sheltered waters of Western Australia’s Ningaloo Reef to breed, give birth, and raise their young. 2018 has been a big year for Eric Luttrell. Along with the release of his ‘Intergalactic Plastic EP’, the American-born producer has played the DoLab stage at Coachella, Holy Ship, Tomorrowland, as well as supporting Above & Beyond on their North American Tour.

Originally featured as Annie Mac’s ‘Hottest Record In The World’, the EP’s title track ‘Intergalactic Plastic’ now gets a stellar remix treatment via Kidnap, Clarian, and Bebetta.

Kidnap builds on Luttrell’s graceful chord progression, combining a chugging bassline and 80’s plucks to create a lush sunset soundtrack, whilst Clarian chooses to get deep, favouring brooding staccato synths and a thumping four-to-the-floor kick. German native Bebetta closes out the package with impeccable sound design, transforming the original into a melting soundscape of twirling synths.

He’s been a stellar figure on the melodic progressive scene over the years and we are truly happy to see him join back with us yet again with his latest baby named as “Armonica”. If sunny skies, palm trees and an overall summer feel is your thing, then he will send you places with this melody driven progressive production from start to finish. It’s as good as it gets and we hope you will take another Richard Bass production to your heart, it totally deserves it.

To spice things even more, you will see a mighty return form one of the finest progressive producers based Japan as our long time friend on the label, Ryo Nakamura makes another stunning return to our PHW imprint with his interpretation of “Armonica”. Being a producer, having No:1 spots on Beatport and with a string of supporters across the globe, we of course welcome him back with open arms with this beauty. As you all know by now if following Ryo and his work, you know you will be in for a treat with this marvellous number of melody driven progressive act. Let’s the melodies take you away on a fantastic journey, so made for the summer season. It’s another bliss from you Ryo, no doubts on that! 

Last but definitely not least we see another return on the label as Lyon and France bound Meranda makes another interesting walk through our doors. With his creative mind, hearing things that others don’t do, we think he is taking the track in a different direction with added on melodic hooks, a slightly more energetic style overall and with super cool tweaks making this to something of his own. It’s a full on progressive journey, packed with emotions and energetic vibes. We absolutely love everything about this release and we hope you get the good feeling yourself.

We're thrilled to present "Summer Selections 05," featuring five standout deep and progressive-flavored cuts. In this edition, we have handpicked new tracks from Dezza, Mcvinski, Eskai, Alex Pich, Lessov, Skyline Drive, Allay, and Astroleaf to complement your summer travel experiences, from scenic drives to revitalizing trips to the beach.

The high-octane "Intro84" by Canadian virtuoso Dezza, whose 2018 has been nothing short of extraordinary, kicks off the compilation. Featured already on a pair of episodes of Above & Beyond's "Group Therapy," this stormy number centers on a dynamic groove that is both exhilarating and suspenseful. The climactic main breakdown features a fully actualized, retro-tinged synth theme, backed by cinematic strings. The euphoric drop to follow is an anthem worthy of the 80s cult classic "Tron."

Having made a successful debut on our label with the moody "Perfect Travel" earlier this year, rising Russian talent Mcvinski offers "Sea Wave," another timeless deep-progressive gem. The moody, almost brooding bassline evokes an early evening surfing expedition on rough seas. The patiently crescendoing bassline and warm, often rapturous melodic and vocal layers rise up and, ultimately, overtake the listener with immense emotional force. 

Garnering over 750K streams on Spotify since its 2016 release, Eskai's groovy and poignant "Point Break" has proven to be a fan favorite. Alex Pich, an extraordinary veteran composer from our stable, delivers an equally memorable and emotive interpretation here. A cavernous bassline establishes a deep, subterranean aural vibe, while the surrounding instrumentation, replete with hypnotic arpeggios, crystalline bell-tinged synths, and hauntingly beautiful atmospheric pads, creates a mesmerizing soundscape. 

The return of celebrated musician Lessov is a thrilling moment in its own right: his last appearance on our label (a standout remix of Universal Solution's "Pressure Point") dates back to January 2016. Known for crafting lush, atmospheric deep-progressive music, the Canadian phenom picks up right where he left off, as he contributes the sensual after-hours gem, "Kami," to this release. Gorgeous melodies and swells of sound weave through the forest-like soundscape. This "wilderness" of mellifluous sonic themes continues to build in intensity; suddenly, at the song's midpoint, as the beats completely drop out, an exceedingly relaxing and harmonious theme is introduced, followed by the reappearance of Lessov's captivating mid-summer woodland symphony.

Closing out the release, the dreamy, melancholic "Ocean Boulevard" unites the talents of three gifted veteran contributors: Skyline Drive (US), Allay (NL), and Astroleaf (NO). Drawing inspiration from the burgeoning synthwave movement, Skyline Drive and Allay evoke an 80s summer romance, courtesy of several poignant minor-key synth themes, backed by similarly retro drum rolls and fills. Meanwhile, Astroleaf's wistful vocals drip with sentimentality and heartache. Listeners of a certain generation will welcome the nostalgic feel of this sweet and innocent summer tune.
